Overview:  Ivan has successfully found a new home at Tom Byron Pictures and continues exploring vocational themed video releases.  Previous efforts include All Natural Nurses, Meat Your Teacher, and Busty Bartenders, which have all been praised with high remarks from fellow XCritic writers.  As with any release from Tom Byron, a high level of quality is expected and the slip cover convinces me of another high quality product from Tom Byron and Ivan.  The theme of DD Doctors is big titties in white lab coats and that’s exactly what we get.  An all-star busty cast including cover girl Shyla Stylez, with Daphne Rose, Bridgette B., Angelina Valentine, and Kayla Paige rounding up the disc.  Those who favor top-quality smut and busty girls should not be disappointed in ‘DD Doctors’.

Bonus Scene:  The bonus scene included is from ‘POV Pin-Ups #04’ and stars Teri Weigel.  The scene is shot in full-screen and clocks in at about twenty-two minutes.  The action is worthwhile and a generous addition to the disc, but is forgettable compared to the original five scenes on the disc.  The action looks a little dated; nevertheless, a one-time viewing is suggested, especially for fans of POV action.  Additionally, Teri fits perfect into the theme of disc as she has a rack herself that fits perfect with the on-going theme of big titties.

Special Features:  Extras include the bonus scene mentioned above, a behind the scene extra, three trailers, photo gallery, and filler material (spam).  One of my favorite extras in Ivan/Tom Byron productions is the generous BTS feature that gives an insightful glimpse into Ivan’s shoots.  The twenty-two minute extra strays from the generalized questions and instead just shoots the performers in their natural element before, during, and after their shoot.  A special treat is the “practice” fucking between Kayla Paige and Sascha.  The camera is left running as Ivan leaves the room and stills are to be shot, but Kayla and Sascha manage to get a quickie in while waiting for the camera setup.

Audio/Video Quality:  Audio is presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo (192 Kbps) and is consistently strong throughout the entire presentation.  There were no instances of artifacts picked up by the audio equipment and each scene was perfectly executed.  Ivan has always been especially skillful in the technical aspects of his productions and ‘DD Doctors’ is no exception.  The video was shot in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio and mastered in 480i. The lighting, color balance, and video were nicely captured by Ivan and his production crew (Tom Byron and Steve Pomerantz).  Ivan is a director that is continuously overlooked as his cinematography and editing is top-notch and bar-none to the completion at hand.

Final Thoughts:  I began ‘DD Doctors’ with high expectations from Ivan and crew and I was somewhat concerned after the first scene.  Daphne Rosen gave a worthy performance, but her acting chops fell flat and diluted my impressions of what ‘DD Doctors’ could end up becoming:  a silly scenario flick that focuses on cheap laughs rather than stellar performances from hot girls.  However, I was reassured by the second and third scene that ‘DD Doctors’ is a title not only worth watching but owning.  Each scene delivered a piping hot sex scene with busty beauties that fulfill their job requirement as adult entertainers.  In addition to the five original scenes, we are treated to an entertaining behind the scenes extra and a bonus scene worth a glimpse.  It’s no surprise that with such releases from Ivan and Tom Byron, the duo continue to be ahead of the competition.  Highly Recommended
