The Movie:

Another VCA production directed by Henri Pachard, She's So Fine tells the story of a girl who is about to be married but who is left on the day of her wedding by the man she thought loved her so. She decides to spend her time fucking whoever she wants before reuniting with him and giving him a taste of what he almost gave up. It's soap opera material with a strange eighties new wave vibe and some bad electronic music on the soundtrack, but the sex is hot and the characters are interesting which makes this one completely watchable and a whole lot of fun. The plot is even interesting at times, which is more than you can say for a lot of porno scripts. Here's who fucks who and how they do it:

Chapter 1 – Sharon Kane And Jerry Butler: When this scene starts the two of them are in bed together. This bad boy was shot on film and surprisingly enough, this fullframe transfer (which looks to be the original aspect ratio for the movie) looks quite good. Flesh tones look natural and there's no shortage of detail in the image when compared to other smut of the same era. There is some softness to the image but no more so than any other adult movies of its ilk. The image is free of all but mild print damage and has only very mild edge enhancement noticeable in a few scenes though some mpeg compression artifacts poke around in the black spots from time to time.

Sound:

The plain vanilla Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono sound mix is clean and clear even when it does show the limitations of the source material used for the disc. Some of the scenes are just a little flat and don't sound too robust but at the very least you can hear everything that's being said and this mix gets done what it needs to get done without any really big problems. The funky dance music score sounds incredibly dated but it ads to the fun of the feature and obviously isn't a fault of the disc so much as it is simply bad taste.

Extras:

Extras are limited to an advertisement trailers for three other VCA Classics titles (New Wave Hookers 5, Shock and The Devil In Miss Jones 6, a photo gallery consisting of nineteen images from the film, a phone sex advertisement, an internet link and a contact page for VCA.

Final Thoughts:

The video presentation on this one is definitely better than a lot of classic titles out on DVD right now and the cast and decent script, combined with the hot sex scenes, make She's So Fine easy to recommended.
