The Movie:

Another offering from Digital Playground and Celeste to showcase the inimitable talents of the increasingly popular Shay Jordan, All American Girl is pretty hot stuff - and patriotic to boot! Well, maybe calling it patriotic is a bit of a stretch but it is very well shot and quite a nice picture to look at. Unfortunately, it's one of those Celeste efforts that omits the live audio track in favor of a canned musical score and the performers actual voices are nowhere to be heard.

I've ranted about this a few times already, and quite recently at that, so let's just say that it is what it is and that those who enjoy this type of production will definitely find a lot to love here. There's no plot to speak of whatsoever, but there's plenty of slick candy colored cinematography for those who appreciate such things, and kudos to the wardrobe department for dolling these gals and making them look their best.

Here's a look at the action:

Scene 1 - Shay Jordan And Scott Nails: This scene starts with Shay sitting in a chair, covering her eyes. Scott comes into the room with a cake to surprise her. She licks the frosting off of Scott's fingers and things start to heat up. She gets naked and gets frosting on her tits and Scott gets some on his cock which she promptly cleans off for him. He eats her pussy and ass and then she rides him reverse cowgirl style. He gets her on all fours for some doggy style fucking and then he bones her missionary style before pulling out and blowing his load onto Shay's tongue and onto the nearby cake.

Scene 2 - Addison Rose: Addison teases us by licking some fruit and then slips a few fingers into her pussy. She plays with herself as the wind blows her hair around. The looping of the giggling over the soundtrack is a little off putting though...

This is a nicely shot scene with plenty of good close up shots to ensure you don't need to use your imagination at all to get off here.

Scene 6 - Angeline Marie And Scott Nails: After a hyper-edited intro we see Scott tie Angeline's hands up and go down on her. He unties her and she returns the oral affections and gives him some serious head. She rides him reverse cowgirl and then he gets her on all fours and fucks her from behind. Scott pulls out and squirts onto Angeline's face to finish the scene. This girl has got very sexy eyes and Celeste does a great job of framing them here, particularly during the oral.

Shay Jordan - All American Girl looks nice in this 1080p AVC 1.85.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, once again proving that the guys doing the HD authoring over at Digital Playground know what they're doing. There's a lot of detail present throughout, even in the scenes that have been filtered to look intentionally soft (the movie, like many of Celeste's films, frequently employs a soft look to give the picture a dream-like quality though not nearly to the same extent of some of their other titles). There aren't any issues at all with compression artifacts or edge enhancement while color reproduction and skin tones look excellent throughout. There aren't any problems with shimmering either, resulting in a very eye-pleasing transfer.

Sound:

The sole audio track on this Blu-ray release is a 48 kHz 448 kbps Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound mix in English. The audio on this release is fine but it isn't as impressive as the transfer is - and it really would have been nice to see an HD sound mix included. There isn't really much in the way of dialogue or moaning and groaning to be concerned about, it's really just music here and not much more. That said, the levels are all properly balanced. The score sounds particularly good and there aren't any problems with background hiss or distortion at all. For an adult movie, the audio quality is better than average, but it doesn't really take advantage of the Blu-ray format at all.

Extras:

DP have included a quick ten minute Behind The Scenes featurette that gives us a look at what it was like on set. This is all shot and put together with a good sense of humor and while, like most Digital Playground supplements, it just barely scratches the surface, it is at least pretty amusing - and let's face it, the more Shay Jordan footage you have in your life, the better your life will be. If nothing else, this gives us that. It'd be nice to see DP include some actual interviews now and again, to let us get to know these girls a little bit more, but so far that isn't happening outside of the 'big' titles (read: Pirates) so for now we have to be content with this quirky, fluffy little mini-featurettes.

Final Thoughts:

Shay Jordan - All American Girl will definitely appeal to that crowd that enjoys the 'music only' productions that Celeste has been pumping out for Digital Playground over the last few years. The sex is hot, the girls look fantastic, and the production values are top notch. That said, be sure that you're okay with the audio before plunking down a hefty chunk o' change on this release. It's not cheap and if you're not 100% sure that the lack of live audio won't bother you, Shay or no Shay, you'll want to rent it first.
