Extras: The best extra was the 12:00 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jamal Johnson (edited by Drax). It played up Marco's role in the series to date, Robby's BS explanation funny but not as much as some of the effects added in. There was also the usual extras with stuff like biographies for the lovely Shay Jordan, Sophia Santi, and Adrianna Lynn, a slideshow, a photogallery, a pop shot compilation from the scenes as well as trailers to shows like Pirates II, Island Fever 4, Shay Jordan: All American Girl, Deeper 8, Image, Jana Cova: Sexual Freak, Pirates, and the usual Virtual Sex titles like Virtual Sex with Shay Jordan, Virtual Sex with Kira Kener, Virtual Sex with Jana Cova, Virtual Sex with Mercedez, Virtual Sex with Sophia Santi, Virtual Sex with Teagan Presley, Virtual Sex with Jesse Jane, and Virtual Sex with Nikki Tyler; being all that the DVD contained.

Audio/Video Quality: Naked Aces 4 was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Robby D. for release by Digital Playground next month. The lighting was solid here, as expected given this was Robby's standard type of gonzo, and that meant that the limited amounts of grain and other visual elements used to lend a sense of texture were minimal. While I generally prefer flood lighting in my gonzo porn, Robby has a way of showing it all with less light, the tint of the colors only slightly off as a result and his use of industry veteran Ralph Parfait as a second cameraman was pretty interesting too. The way the scenes were shot and edited was markedly similar in the scenes, though the composition of the angles was changed up a bit depending on the scene in question; using an appealing visual device at the beginning of the scenes to look like an old film print of cheesy movies (nice touch; it's worked before too). The composition of the shots and the editing enhanced the look of the ladies more than a little bit too, proving what this critic has to say about the production team led by Robby (allowing the talented Nick "The Wiz" P. the task of cleaning up the goofs with the editing and music again) with the DVD mastering revealing no compression artifacts (the bitrate varying but often staying near the mid 7 Mbps range). The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English (using 384 Kbps) with a minimalist leaning that seemed unique in most ways to productions outside of the other Jack series, with the vocals always dominating the audio track as I like it. While there wasn't much separation between the channels, if any, the ladies were almost always clearly heard and their moans added to the enjoyment of the show.
Body of Review: Robby D. is the type of director that does his own thing on occasion, his overall work at Digital Playground earning him enough leeway with the bosses to chase his deviant muse often enough. One of his stranger series to date has been one full of guns, gals, and goofiness, the latest volume being Naked Aces 4. To date, the series has played on a variety of weird situations and characters that remind me of a pornified Mexican action movie, the kind you see in low end video stores of the wrong side of town (or on very late night cable). With ninjas, sausage salesmen, redneck hillbilly gun gurus, and enough firepower to takeover Chatsworth California, the show continued to amaze me at how Robby was allowed to get away with some mighty wacky shit. The draw this time was the use of contract performers in most of the leading female roles, including two that have left the company; Adrianna Lynn and Sophia Santi. On top of that was lovely Shay Jordan, all brought together for another heaping helping of hostility. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:
Scene One: Shay Jordan, the very cute brunette seen on the right hand side of the front cover, was up first as she portrayed a maid with an attitude. She rebuffed Mick Blue, denying his attempt to seduce her via chemical means, Adrianna coming to the rescue but not in the scene sexually. Mick attached his face to Shay's ass and warmed her up enough that she changed her opinion of him, even encouraging him to go down on her for awhile in the music room of the house (on the couch by the piano). Shay provided some over the top vocals as he happily ate away, hardly getting a chance to slob his knob before he started banging her biscuit like a machine. Shay was fairly passive here, letting Mick do almost all of the work even as she did some intermittent PTM. She looked good through the entire scene but t was clearly not one of her strongest efforts of late. The scene finished up when she took the moderate facial and gave him some post coital sucking, the scene ending using the same scratchy looking film stock look.
Scene Two: Adrianna Lynn, the pink bikini wearing gal on the far left side of the cover, was up next as a snaggle toothed counter agent looking to defeat ninja master Tommy Gunn to obtain his aphrodisiac potion from him. She didn't need his chemical stimulus to obtain the same effect, Tommy helping to strip her clothing off before gaining access to her clam for some oral pleasure. She told him what she wanted to do, Tommy using his tongue as she moistened up for the screwing. She provided him with a moderately aggressive hummer (also too short) before they did so on the bed, but fans of foot fetish action will be happy to know they engaged in some of that too (her jerking his cock with her feet; a practice that did little for me). Adrianna was passive for most of the scene, allowing Tommy to bone her like he owned her; the gal eventually riding him with a little enthusiasm if not what I've seen she is capable of. The need for a C-light was evident here more than any of the other scenes, though the way her ass cheeks shook was pretty sweet in my opinion. They then did some titty fucking (by this point, I wanted to shut her up from saying "oh yeah" and variations thereof). The light load went to her titties and the film stock look returned.
Scene Three: Jada Fire, the curvy black anal queen so many people know from her performances, was up next with Marco Banderas and Mr. Pete, as Marco tried to use the potion to get some extra big sausage from the pizza delivery boy (Pete). The implied homosexuality in the "dicks are for chicks" scenario was probably to Robby's liking but it was cast aside quickly enough for the men to double team Jada in the kitchen. Her assault rifle placed on the counter, she worked their guns to the fullest as she kissed the men, allowed them access to her cookie, and blew them as though she was paying the rent. Pete did his diddling act on her but she withheld the waterworks in favor of actively blowing and riding their cocks; the first such scene of the show. Given her past works, I'd have thought she was a sure thing for anal this time but she did not allow them in her back door, her minimal dirty talk something lighter than usual too. The scene finished up with a double facial for her to enjoy, more of the "missing reel" footage employed to cover for the lack of continuity.
Scene Four: Sophia Santi, the sexy brunette featured on the middle of the front cover, was up next in a lesbian scene with her savior, Alektra Blue, the bikini clad heroine as the gals teased Mick. This was a standard lesbian greet and eat scene with the ladies taking turns on each other before using toys to penetrate their sexy partner. Mick escaped as the ladies went to town on each other, the glass dildos getting shoved in lesbian ass before the scene finished up. There was a bit of spanking and Alektra was the most vocal of the two, the result being what I would call the "standard Sophia experience" for how well she always seems to embrace the fairer sex.
Scene Five: Adrianna Lynn, up one last time, was the closer here as she wrapped her lips around Jerry's cock on the couch. The threadbare plot was again truncated as though footage was lost, Jerry lowering her bikini bottom to sample her ass as she slobbed his knob much more actively this time. His wig was pretty lame but unlike her last scene, she provided an experience showing she likes sex (maybe only if it's with the right person); even sitting on his face as she continued her oral assault. She was also more active in the vaginal penetration here, pushing back against him to meet his thrusts; her asshole tattoo shown fairly well but never taking his rod in her ass as I would have liked to see. Her vocals were unconvincing in terms of chemistry but the scene was definitely a step back towards her better days (as she provided in a few earlier releases by the company). The scene closed out with a modest facial and some post coital sucking, Adrianna earning a day's pay this time.
Summary: Naked Aces 4 by director Robby D. for release by Digital Playground next month was a fair showcase for former contract performer Adrianna Lynn as the gal worked the cock in two scenes. The other ladies were a nice bunch but there was enough strokability, replay value, and fuck for the buck to merit a rating of Rent It from me, some of you into guns and passive females in porn maybe considering it even better than that. The humorous elements were corny but managed to make me laugh more than a few times, not making it as solid an effort as previous volumes in the series. In short, Naked Aces 4 had a lot of rough edges truly best suited for those of you that like the trio of contract performers present.
