The Marriage Counselor is presented on Blu-ray with a full 1080p high definition resolution that utilizes a VC-1 codec. The picture quality is decent overall, but not great. The image has softness to it, there's some noise, and black levels aren't as rich as they should be. The quality varies and there are moments with fine definition. For instance, beads of sweat appear on Jayden's brow in the opening scene and are detailed nicely. However, Kirsten's fantasy scene later in the film is far too soft for its own good and lacks detailing.

The sound quality is better than most with a Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track. It's presented with 448 kHz at 384 kbps. The track includes some fine audio that rings through clear as one would hope, and the soundtrack has some life to it. Don't expect much activity on the rear channels and you won't be disappointed.

Directed by Jonathan Morgan, The Marriage Counselor is a porn comedy released by Wicked Pictures. The film features a  fantastic female ensemble that includes talent like Shawna Lenee, Kirsten Price, and Jayden James. On the male side of the equation there's Tommy Gunn, Rocco Reed, Alex Sanders, and Tony De Sergio. The premise behind this film is that a couple is having some difficulty in their marriage, so they head off to see a counselor. It begins with them discussion their sex life (or lack thereof)

Scene 1:

As the couple relent the woes of their activities in the bedroom, they eventually talk about fantasies. She likes a hot and sweaty fireman, while he craves a naughty nurse. Eventually their fantasies come true, so to speak, and a dreamlike image of Tommy Gunn as a fireman and Jayden Jaymes as a nurse appear behind them. The scene cuts to the two of them getting it on and includes plenty of over-acting and hamming up with a script. "There's a fire...in  my panties!" Jayden exclaims. "Well, I got a hose just for that!" Tommy replies. It's corny, but in a funny kind of way. The two break into some foreplay, which eventually leads into Tommy trying to put Jayden's fire out. The action is quite good here with the costume fetishes looking quite nice. All around this was a fun scene and the chemistry between Tommy and Jayden was quite good.

Scene 2:

As the movie transitions back to the couple talking about their relationship, the counselor asks if they've tried anything to spruce it up. He eventually asks them about BDSM and tells them to imagine a big powerful man, and a woman slave willing to do whatever he wants. As you'd imagine the characters appear behind them and the scene transitions, just like the first bit did. This one begins with Brandy chained up in a dark room somewhere. Her master comes in and begins pouring a red liquid onto her breasts. After some foreplay the scene cuts to the good stuff with Brandy riding his cock, and from there the scene goes on to feature her bent over and taking it from behind. The action doesn't last that long, unfortunately, and before you know it Brandy is receiving a mouthful of man-juice.

Scene 3:

Once again we see the couple as they decide to give BDSM a try at home. It goes hilariously bad, and they wind up back at the counselor's office once again talking about how to improve their relationship in a manner that doesn't involve her violating his ass. Eventually we see the unhappy couple at home awaiting a third party, and the two dressed up accordingly. There's a bit of a fantasy flash, however, that sees Kirsten getting it on by the fireplace with Rocco. The two have a lot of energy that they work off here, and this was one heck of a sexy scene. Kirsten really goes all out here, and the chemistry between them was very good.

Scene 4:

Now it's Alex's turn to fantasize about what the next step in their counseling is going to be. He pictures himself being adored by Shawna and Marie, and after some funny dialogue the foreplay gets underway. They take turns paying attention to his cock and it's not long until Shawna is on top riding him reverse cowgirl. The girls pay some nice attention to each other as well and there's plenty of rubbing and licking throughout. Shawna seems to be the most into it, however, and she really steals the spotlight. It's Marie's turn after a while, but the true highlight comes when Shawna is getting nailed from behind and providing oral favors for Marie.

Scene 5:

Once fantasy time is over and done with, things don't go quite as planned for the party. They answer the door and there's a beautiful girl standing there, but right behind her is a bunch of other people who really just want to party. In the aftermath of the party Kirsten is throwing up in the bathroom and is consoled by Alex. Somehow they get frisky with each other, and the sex is quite good. Perhaps it was because the film was building up to this moment, but the two really go at it like hungry fiends. I particularly enjoyed the look-back Kirsten gives Alex as she takes it from behind at one point.

Summary:

All around the Marriage Counselor was quite entertaining, both as a porno and as a comedy. The sense of humor is very good and the dialogue is delivered well enough to provide the laughs. The quality of the sex varies somewhat, though for the most part it's solid throughout. If you're looking for a film both you and your partner can enjoy, this is a good option. It's the kind of release that couples could dig, and doesn't include anything too fetish-like or raunchy. Highly Recommended!
