Audio/Video Quality: Nicely shot and presented in anamorphic widescreen. Cinematography ranges from dramatic to softly lit scenes and even includes aerial footage for some exteriors. Unlike James Avalon's other works that I'm more familiar with, he doesn't opt to flood each room with white light in this film. Soundtrack is nicely matched to each scene, sometimes bordering on creepy and being more upbeat and playful at times.

Overview: James Avalon brings us the 7th volume of the Shades of Kink series, starring AJ Applegate and Yhivi. It's four couples-friendly BDSM scenes centered around AJ being introduced to the D/S lifestyle by Yhivi who plays AJ's father's sub. Since it is a feature, I won't get into plot details - but from the scene layouts you'll probably be able to figure out the story progression for yourself.

Scene 1: Yhivi & Steven St. Croix

Final Thoughts: AJ is the shining star here, and Pepper looks great on film as usual. Oddly enough, I didn't really care for Yhivi in this title. She may have played her part a bit too well, as I prefer her bubbly persona rather than the submissive, broody type she plays here. The male performers are all A-listers and each carries their role well. The opening scene just didn't appeal to me, for whatever reason. The threesome scene is by far the standout for my taste although AJ & Tyler finished the disc with strong performances. The disc is really about Dominance and Submission more so than bondage. There's plenty of spanking and light face slapping, and that may turn many viewers off, others will gravitate to this title for precisely that reason. I know AJ has plenty of fans of her ass, and many will want to see it get spanked. The Extras section of the disc is sparse, and so that leads me to believe that most viewers will want to Watch This On Demand rather than own it.
