Extra's: For many of you, the best extra will be the bonus sex scene from the movie Fleshbacks starring Roxetta and Jim Beem. I described it below but it's inclusion in the extras section was questionable since better scenes were available for selection. For me, the best extra was the 18.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Dic Tracy. It spent a lot of time with Samantha Ryan at first but the other gals got some time in too (with extra sex footage) with the sole exception of Saskia. There were also some trailers and a photogallery but that was it.

Audio/Video Quality: Sex Sells was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally shot by director Roy Karch for Adam & Eve. It was a basic shoot with decent lighting most of the time that limited the grain and other visual flaws. The composition of the shots wasn't always favorable to the look of the ladies but I sensed he tried his best. There were no compression artifacts though so at least the DVD mastering process didn't add to the woes of the production and most people would consider it fairly well made for a low budget release. The audio was presented in a basic 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo that made little use of separation and the quality of the DVD format but I could hear the vocals and the music was pretty generic.

Body of Review: Adam & Eve has been in business for a very long time, providing consenting adults with a lot of cool toys and movies to help enhance their sex lives. In recent years, they've stopped mandating condoms at the request of consumers but have had problems finding capable directors that can shoot something better than generic vignette porn. In a decent, if somewhat bland, new title, the company offers up Sex Sells, a series of vignettes that show women using their assets to increase their bank accounts or otherwise improve their lives. The movie had some decent scenes so here's a quick breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used at all:

Scene One: Out For A $troll: Brooke Haven, the curvy blonde with great legs, was up first as a street walker who was picked up by Trent Tesoro on a nearly deserted roadway. They went to a sleazy motel room and he rubbed her pussy before she blew him, leading to the usual screwing. She has some solid oral skills and they were on display here but she was even better riding his shaft in her pussy and ass. I like seeing a gal actively participate in a scene as she did here though they didn't appear to have any chemistry together. It ended when he popped to her mouth and it oozed down her chest.

Scene Two: The Porn$tar: Sandra Romain, the foreign brunette known for her extremely powerful gonzo scenes, was up next wearing a red leather outfit that truly hugged her curvy body (especially her ass) on a porn set with Randy Spears. They passionately kissed and then went down on one another, with her oral very well done as she slobbed his knob. This led to them screwing in her pussy and ass with her continuing to aggressively pump back on him and grind her hips into him. She seemed turned on throughout the scene and while she has done better elsewhere, it was a solid scene; ending with Randy jerking off onto her pussy.

Scene Three: Any Pole Will Do: Vanessa Lane, the gorgeous hotty with a mane of hair and a lean figure, was up next as a stripper (big leap of faith there, huh?) who gave a short but heated floor show on the stage (with the stripper pole). She collected her outfit and spoke to the customers, ending up Lee Stone who whipped out his plastic (before whipping out his cock) to get a trip to the VIP room with her. Her initial show on the pole was kind of weak but as she began to work on his pole, the action got better. He warmed her up orally before she took care of his shaft as though she was born to it. Scene Five: The Kept Woman: Saskia, an average looking woman with a lot of hair on her body, was up last as she lounged around the pool and smoked a cigarette on the sunny day. This was another okay scene, certainly better than the Ryan/Lockwood scene but generic nonetheless and ending with a small pop shot to the face.

Scene Six: Fleshbacks: Roxetta, a redhead with a stripper's body and a face you'd have to see to believe (see how diplomatic I can be?!?), was up next in the lingerie store with Jim Beam. In all fairness, they looked like a couple since he was dorky and she had seen better days but the two went to working on each other right out in the open store; doing oral and vaginal sex like old pals. This scene was worse than the last due to the way they seemed to be on the clock but fans of the couple might disagree and actually like the action for some unknown reason.

Summary: Sex Sells was worth a rating of Rent It even though it had a pretty strong start. The sex was a mixed bag with some pairings being far better than others and some of the ladies looking far more desirable than others. There was some anal and a few of the ladies appeared like they were having a good time but the technical matters and formulaic manner in which the ladies were locked down (rather than allowed to truly let loose) weakened it too. Check it out if you find a deal or if you are a fan of one of the ladies but rent it first to make sure it's what you're looking for.
