First Impressions:
Lost somewhere between the wanton and the waif, 1Strike's latest offering, Sex Fetish, features some of the most unattractive actresses to grace adult entertainment. It's not that they're ugly – some of the gals are quite cute – it's just that they come across as dirty, bored and somewhat unsettling. Now, the Dirge recognizes that there is an audience for this kind of ignorant slut smut, and director De Montfort plays up the whore/himbo dichotomy a great deal. This is erratic Eros as dude/dame domination, without a real concern for physical or emotional connection. The ladies play passive paramours (except in the sole section of male discipline) and, even when the fucking is fierce, they can only muster that dead-eyed doe in the headlights stare when facing the camera. You will see a lot of sweat slick dudes in this title. The girls, unfortunately, are often more stiff then the dicks they're taking.

The Sex Scenes:

There is a very specific rhythm to the way De Montfort organizes sex scenes, at least after witnessing the auto-pilot porking on this DVD. A sequence will typically start with a long bit of cabaret, a chance for the actress to show off her stuff to the hopeful home audience. Then the meat puppet arrives and begins the oral snatch service. A little fingering and some more clit-flicking and it's time to travel to blowjob city. Suck, suck, suck and then we move on to the various positions parameters. Two or three carnal combinations and it's time to drop a load in the lady's mouth. Finish it all off with a little cum play (bubble blowing, gargling, various other types of jizz enjoyment) and it's all over. About the only invention you'll find in the fornication is the sets (in this case, baroque and very ornate) set-ups (we get S&M and its belligerent brother B&D) and shot selection (lots of extreme close-ups on penetration). If you don't mind this kind of mannered moviemaking, you'll enjoy this title. Otherwise, it's a lot of the same sex as performed by different people.

Kat is a tiny blond thing, so naturally she will be paired with Lee "Monster Member" Stone. Lee is a lunk, a chunky muscleman who appears overpumped and genetically altered. When matched up against him, Kat just disappears. You know a guy's got a big dick when an actress looks pained as she attempts a deep throat – and the cock is only about a third of the way in her mouth. Anyway, the domination dynamic is in full force as the pair does their best to sell the sex. Some of it is very erotic. At other times, we fear for Kat's internal organs. It all ends on a very high note as our actress takes inches of rod in her rectum and rides it for all its worth. While never once reaching the heights of hardcore we come to expect from a really good gonzo title, the fierce feature filmmaking of Sex Fetish almost makes up for the lack of real lewdness.

In a much more even match, King of the facial tic Marco (who is now going by the last name of "Banderas", instead of his usual "Duato" tag) can hardly handle Demi's demanding libido and when these two get to grinding, all balling bets are off. While Ms. Marx has a problematic face (too many teeth in her tiny mouth) she can fuck and suck like a pro. She gives great head, and really concentrates on bathing the balls with her tongue. After a while, Marco starts to slow down, unable to keep up with the copulation. This lowers the overall score and indicates one of the reasons this title is tricky to evaluate. Again, portions of the porn are red hot. At other times, the XXX action is middling and fairly mediocre. Such a rollercoaster concept for raunch does not bode well for the determination of overall arousal.

Scene 3: Lexi Bardot, Steven French

On the plus side, Lexi spends part of the scene tied up, letting Steven service her any way he wants. Some of the teasing is very, VERY pleasing. Once we get to the humping, however, things get a little dull. Mr. French is a rather unexceptional cocksman who's idea of added spice is to pull Lexi's locks while he's got her from behind. He's even a bad aim, putting his prick pudding all over her face, never once hitting her mouth. This sequence actually starts the depressing downward spiral for Sex Fetish. The rest of the scenes stink of failed aspirations and unrealized desires.

Scene 4: Kamila, Raine, Trent Solari

Trent is a portly, pudgy little thing who looks like '80s one hit wonder Taco during this dull three-way. Indeed, we half expect him to drop the leather jacket and start tap-dancing to "Puttin' on the Ritz". This is obviously the big "Goth" sequence that the title seems to suggest, but the only thing Gothic about this gratuity is how old and moldy it seems. Once they get the portly meat puppet out of his leather goods, we end up with typical tired triple action. Guy gets double the peter puffing, ladies lunch on each other's loins while Trent takes one from the rear, and our gals even share sperm like a Momma bird feeding her chicks in another nauseating example of snowballing. Maybe if there was more sleaze and less tease, we'd have a winner. Unfortunately, there is no real heat to this half-baked hardcore.

For our final sequence of sex, we have a slight step up from our previous pathetic offering. Reno looks rather ragged, like he just got off a transcontinental airplane flight and barely had time to dust the jet lag off his junk before jumping on Faith. And while our actress is attractive in a kind of Plain Jane ideal, she is less that lively when it comes to fucking. Our meat puppet must put in some substantial overtime to get a rise out of this uninterested gal. In the end, we're glad to see the money moment, since it means this pedestrian offering is finally getting ready to roll credits.

Okay, so here's the deal. If you like the dark, moody type, eyes rimmed with raccoon like make-up and face filled with non-erotic ennui, then you'll adore Sex Fetish. It is hard to categorize these ladies as the "Goth Vixens" the cover art suggests, since your typical daughters of darkness are a Helluva lot sexier than some of these skanks. So the best way to determine your wanton wallet variables is to run down to your local video store and check out a copy. Indeed, a rating of Rent It is the only way to go here. Leather, corsets and gobs of eyeliner do not make for exciting erotica. Hardcore porn is about passionate porking and there is very little of that XXX excitement here.
