Extras: In terms of extras, the 10:04 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jamall Johnson and edited by Willem Default was the best of the batch for me. The inclusion of a standard DVD copy was nice too but I’m a Blu-ray fan thanks to the enhanced technical values, perhaps those who prefer one format might get with someone that likes the other to each get what they want. There was a photogallery and some trailers but that was all.

Audio/Video Quality: Hit The Road was presented in a very appealing 1.78:1 widescreen as shot by director Robby D. for Digital Playground. The movie package included both the standard definition DVD as well as the Blu-ray disc, each looking exceptionally sharp and clear though the high definition version was a really nice upgrade. Nick P. did some fine editing and the rest of the established team proved their usual magic on other aspects of the flick, the mix of shots used to provide inspiration sure to please many of us complaining about the company’s oft reliance on close up shots. The audio was also clear in both versions (post production added surround sound), the difference less striking but the production sounded like the vocals and music were put together well enough, no one credited with the overall sound elements. The high definition version of this movie was a decidedly minor upgrade this time, some portions of the show seemingly rushed or otherwise not cared for as much as usual but the feature elements seemed lacking too.

Body of Review: Robby D. is the director responsible for all titles out of Digital Playground these days, the resulting titles showing a great deal of technical care while showcasing some of the hottest ladies currently in porn. Such was the case with Hit The Road, a showcase title for former contract lady Selena Rose. Selena portrayed a young lady on the road that stopped by a home full of sexually active couples, all of the ladies upset over the perceived competition while the men wanted to bang her silly. The back cover described the movie like this: “While on a hike, Selena Rose™ seeks shelter from nice guy Erik Everhard, who lets the beautiful babe crash at his place. Unfortunately his jealous girlfriend Kelly (Alexis Monroe) doesn't like the idea of a scantily clad sex kitten hanging around half naked. Erik hopes that a hot banging cools Kelly off. Erik's roommate Manuel and his girlfriend (Gia Steele) are none too thrilled by Selena either. Even though the couple enjoy a a furious fucking, Selena is still able to seduce Manuel. Selena Rose was surprisingly strong in the role that while on the light side overall, provided a solid showcase for the gal amidst babes like Anikka Albrite, Alexis Monroe, and Gia Steel. In short, Hit The Road was an entertaining little feature from one of the most award winning teams on all of porn, the cast and crew working together to provide something a wider audience can enjoy together so check it out.
