Extra's: The only extra was a 20 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that centered most of it's attention on Nautica Thorn. I was flattered that they included a line directed specifically towards me: "Houston, we have anal…" when she was losing her onscreen anal cherry but as I point out in the scene description below, it wasn't all that. Otherwise, this was a good extra to include, even if I would've liked more stuff to go with it.

Audio/Video Quality: Secret Desires was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Nautica Thorn for distribution by AMA Video. The sets were low budget, the camera angles not always flattering to the gals, and the editing needed work but the fleshtones were solid and only some weak lighting kept the levels of grain too high. I didn't see any compression artifacts or video noise but the entire release would've benefited by more polishing of the rough edges. The stereo English audio track appeared to be monaural with no separation between the channels and limited dynamic range. There were times when the vocals were too soft and other times when they were distorted (the last scene has terrible music distortion).

Body of Review: Fans of cute gals will no doubt appreciate the attractive nature of performer Nautica Thorn. An exotic Asian looking gal with a lean, all natural figure and nice smile, she has now ventured into directing her own line of movies, starting with Secret Desires for AMA Video. The general premise of the movie is that she's a Madame who offers a wide range of services from her employees but it was all done on such a low budget that I thought the non-sex parts should've been ditched altogether. In any case, the main advertising point of the movie was that it contained Nautica Thorn's first anal scene and it delivered in terms of her taking a (albeit) small penis inside her ass. Here's a brief breakdown of the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used in the scenes:

Scene One: Teacher's Pets: Harmony, a curvy gal with light hair and a nice ass, Annie Cruz, a smaller Asian gal with a knack for eating pussy, and studly porn meat puppet Chris Cannon, were all up in the first scene. It took place in a small classroom that looked much like a regular household room quickly converted into a porn set. The gals were hookers (gosh, ya think?!?) and Chris wanted some bought & paid for fun so he hired them via Nautica's agency. They initially put on a decent lesbian scene but soon took him into the action but sucking his meat pipe by the desk. Harmony was the better gal of the two; both sexually speaking as well as in how good she looked, but neither was bad. Harmony was the better oralist and vaginal expert but Annie was pretty powerful in the anal (with PTM and ATM to spare). The gals finished up with some cum swapping and the scene was pretty heated by my account.

Scene Two: The Audition: Nautica Thorn, enjoying a bubble bath, received a call from skinny Kris Slater, who was applying for work as a male escort. While it would've been more realistic for him to audition with another man, I'm glad she decided to test drive him myself since I had no desire to see two men boning each other. Her tease footage in the tub was nice as was her naughty nightie and the scene progressed slowly as he tried to seduce her. She gave her usual great head and he tried to keep up with her in the 69 position (needless to say, he was lacking here). They then went to vaginal screwing on the bed in a few positions with her acting like his small penis was something special (cough). The advertised anal (her first on camera) was pretty weak but then I'm not big on performers doing their "first" whatever act rather than playing to their strengths. I think she's a hotty and it was interesting but for anal fun, I can direct you to a hundred gals doing it far better. The small pop shot to her stomach and chest ended it all (I'm sure she picked him for the anal due to his limited size.)
As a side note, Nautica said this during an interview with Gene Ross on AFYI several months ago: "She's tried anal off camera and was really drunk at the time. "Even then I didn't like it so I think I'm just a lost case with a cock up my ass," she says. Some do, some don't, I tell her. "I'm one of those that don't," she comments. I asked Thorn to describe in grim detail her thoughts about that scene. "It was with Kris Slater - he was the lucky guy that went into my ass," she says. "A nice guy. We started fucking and as soon it got in after about two minutes I kind of fell off the bed. I was like you need to go into my happy place. Give me a second. I started singing to myself gummy bears, unicorns and fluffy pillows over and over again. That's my happy place." I ask Thorn if you can get a happy meal there as well.
"Definitely," she laughs. "You can get a Chicken McNugget happy meal any time you want." All of this being said, I take it that Thorn's experience with dick in her ass was a brief one. "I thought I could do it," she said, noting this wasn't her first attempt. She's tried before with Chris Cannon. "Chris Cannon couldn't do it so we had to re-schedule an get a smaller dick."

Scene Three: Executive Decision: Kayla Paige and Kelly Wellin were up next in a bedroom lesbian scene where they ate one another out and fingered the heck out of each other. They rimmed and used a large flesh colored dildo too but on the whole, the scene lacked any passion, chemistry, or energy so I really didn't care much about it. It wasn't that the gals aren't talented (they've proven otherwise elsewhere) or unattractive but they just didn't seem into women here and that pretty much kills a lesbian scene for most fans.

Scene Four: The Voyeur: Veronika Racquel, a tall, attractive gal with light hair and some nice curves, was up next in a scene on a couch with the lovely Nautica Thorn. She told her friend about a hot date she had, living out some of the sex parts to intrigue Nautica, who then took over and went down on her. I liked Nautica's ass in the air but the scene soon changed when she called Justin to join them. Veronika and Justin became the focal point of the action after that with the two kissing as they undressed each other on the couch. It was a shame that Nautica only masturbated from above while these two did each other but it wasn't a bad scene altogether. The couple did oral, vaginal, and a slow anal that worked from me more than Nautica's scene; ending with a faceful of semen launched Veronika's way.

Scene Five: Secret Desire: Nautica Thorn, having made sure everyone else in the movie was taken care of, wanted a release of her own and by a real stud this time. To truly get off, she turned to studly Chris Cannon in her dream on a comfy bed. I loved her tiny outfit as it really accentuated her curves but the audio for this scene was really bad and that drained some of the heat. The scene stuck with what she knows best, oral and vaginal sex, and was well done except for the visual spoilers (using veils to convey a sense of intimacy rarely works on bigger budget movies so guess how it came off here) and audio issues. Fans of Nautica will be able to overlook these problems better than I could as a reviewer.

Summary: Secret Desires was a movie I wanted to like more than I did since I like watching Nautica Thorn in action and most of the other gals have done some solid work in the recent past. The problems with the technical matters and reliance on a single (albeit good) extra didn't help matters any but the lack of passion in most of the scenes was the biggest issue I had with the DVD. I'm going to rate it as a Rent It to anyone not a complete slavering fanboy of Nautica Thorn but those types will consider this the top of the heap in terms of seeing the object of their desire doing anal sex. I hope her future efforts contain more material worthy of her ability but I did believe the amount of fuck for the buck was pretty good here so check it out.
