Extras: The best extra was the 21:28 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage and interview. There was some extra sex too but it was fun to watch all the same. There was also a couple of trailers and a biography on the disc but that was all, a digital copy offered via a code on paper inside the case (technically, there was a “Pay for your porn” commercial too).

Audio/Video Quality: Scarlet Red was shot in anamorphic widescreen by director Jay Rock for Adult Empire Films. The lighting was plentiful and flesh tones accurate, the second camera manned by Donnie Cabo, and the music was credited to the director. While no one was listed as editor, there did not seem to be an overly aggressive amount of editing during the scenes, the scenes shot in a fairly small area where the performers were not moving around much. There was no continuous company watermark throughout the show and the music was limited to the credits and tease sections so it was not a big factor here either. The resolution of the production on the DVD was very crisp, the cameras not offering quite the same picture but neither drastically askew as too many competitors offer these days. The audio was presented in 2.0 LPCM with a 1536 Kbps bitrate but other than some minor interview sections, there wasn’t a lot of talking taking place once the interviews were over, the moans heard just fine during the production but not a lot to rate if you catch my drift.

Body of Review: Jay Rock is a director with limited credits under his name, his latest production listed as the second from Adult Empire Films. The title is called Scarlet Red, a showcase spotlight of four scenes starring the 22 year old blond cutie from Aspen. I’ve enjoyed several of Scarlet’s scenes over the past year so I figured Empire would continue their winning streak of spotlight showcases. The back cover described the movie like this: “Get ready for Red: a blazing beauty who will light all your fires. Scarlet Red's name is inspired by the sexy shade of crimson she turns when things heat up, and she will stun you with her dazzling energy and presence in four amazing hardcore scenes. Director Jay Rock makes Scarlet a starlet from first blush, so join in on the action co-starring Dillion Harper, Luna C. Kitsuen and more. Red. It's an Adult Empire Films event you won't want to miss.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Scarlet Red, the pretty blond with the amazing eyes featured on the front cover (also sported on the front cover of Hustler’s 40th anniversary issue), was up first with muscular Danny Mountain after she gave an introductory interview. At this writing, the perky newcomer has a couple dozen credits to her name according to the IAGD, the gal standing out as having her makeup perfect and multiple cameras applied to her to give her some room. This was her first scene with Danny, the gal in a teal tank top and white booty shorts while he was in jeans and a black wife beater (no pun intended given his history). They kissed at length and his hand was all over her crotch, Danny briefly gobbling her gash before she aggressively slobbed his knob with some hand to gland friction. Scarlet was an active rider who gave additional bouts of head from time to time, her crying out when his turgid rod was barely inside of her striking me as a bit weird but the scene itself not bad thanks to the replay value and strokability of the cute gal. She had a bald beaver and it ended when he drained his dragon on her crotch and lower torso, Scarlet savoring the semen.

Scene Two: Scarlet Red, next up in a country western tube top with flower pattern and blue jean shorts, was then treated to some lesbian fun with sexy brunette babe Dillion Harper, on the couch, Dillion in a red top and similar shorts. The ladies went topless during the interview and Dillion’s pronounced tan line looked good on her juicy jugs, both of them offering an ass to die for as they kissed, munched crotch, and rimmed one another as they saw fit. There seemed to be some natural chemistry between them, the playfulness carrying into the action along with decided levels of energy and enthusiasm even before their interview led to a reboot with their clothing on a bed. They took their time and went slowly here but I had the impression they could have gone on for a very long time.

Scene Three: Scarlet Red, this time in a sexy black dress and always awesome Luna C. Kitsuen, in a similar outfit (her eyes competed with Scarlet’s for my attention), were then in an interview before Bruce Venture walked over between them on the couch for them to share his erection. The ladies double teamed him and even though it was their first scene together, they also appeared to have some mutual heat for each other, Bruce just a generic meat puppet to them by comparison. Their streamers flew about and he pawed them as they continued feeling them up, some nut nuzzling added as they worked him over in remarkable unison given this was their first time together. Their oral was punctuated with some handjob play and their eye contact was as good as the previous scene, Scarlet choking a little but easily able to throat him with Luna coming in a close second. Scarlet was an active vaginal rider here too, her ability to milk balls dry of sperm a given thanks to her sexy hard body. The resolution and lighting made every bump, blemish and minor attribute stand out here, Scarlet’s vocal chords again straining the limits of believability given his modest size and her bald beaver easily handling it without any visible strain. Still, the ladies assisted each other in having a good time and he held off to deposit his load into Scarlet’s mouth as Dillion gave some post coital head, the cum swap sharing leading the seed to disappear.

Summary: Scarlet Red by director Jay Rock for Adult DVD Empire was a fun show starring Scarlet in four scenes, a lesbian tryst as well as GGB action, the minimal extras including a trailer and digital copy of the flick for those who want to explore it using other media. She was an active participant on both the men and women in the scenes, her partners spending a suitable amount of time pleasuring her too, the technical values well handled to make this a “must have” set a new scenes for any fans of hers, the DVD earning a rating of Recommended for a general audience. In short, Scarlet Red was a fine sophomore effort for the company as it expands into producing scenes itself, the multitude of showcase spotlights on the market always served well when competition heats up so check it out.
