Extras: Other than a cast list on each of the three discs, there were not many extras until the third disc. That one started off with a 5:28 minute Behind the Scenes look at the only original scene of the movie as captured by AVN Online, followed by more in-depth coverage of the scene by X-Fanz/X-Biz lasting 9:49 minutes. Audio/Video Quality: Defend Our Porn was presented largely in a 1.33:1 ratio full frame color set of three discs by Evil Angel and a number of directors, the compilation coming from across a span of years so the technical values were obviously not as high as recent scenes. The MPEG-2 codec was used on the SD release, all 10+ hours of scenes (16 of them) appearing to look like they did originally without edits (as far as I could tell). The bitrate was low, typically hovering in the mid 2 Mbps range and there were some compression artifacts with video noise and grain (especially in a handful of older scenes in dark places) but the raw energy of the action was often enough to overcome the technical limitations. This was a decent place to be able to compare some of the directors too, although a strict comparison would also involve release dates too since all of the directors have evolved (mostly for the better too). The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 stereo English using a 192 Kbps bitrate, a 48 kHz sampling rate, and sounding as diverse as the pictures looked different from one another. I heard no separation between the channels and the dynamic range was limited but most of the scenes derived from productions coming out in the last year or two sounded much alike.
