Audio/Video Quality: Good on both fronts. Apparently shot on Red Epic Dragons (techno geeks will understand what that implies) and well balanced for color. Some camera angles I thought could have been utilized better but overall good.

Overview: Four vignettes, which don't appear to be related, involve pretty, medieval maidens getting down with some swordsmen. It is not a feature as I originally thought it would be, so don't get sucked too far into the initial storyline setup as it doesn't get followed through. It's an interesting niche concept that I'd like to see more of with just a bit more attention to detail when it comes to curating the stories onto a DVD.

Scene 1. Jay Taylor, Xander Corvus  

First off, I think Jay Taylor is a great casting choice for this opening scene. Her milky white body fits the role of a lord's servant rather nicely once she is unclothed. She also has sexual skills that seem absolutely appropriate for a maiden that lives only to serve her master. Xander fits his role pretty well too but I do have to mention that his hair color threw me off at first, I keep forgetting he went darker. On another note, I don't know if it was Xander or one of the production crew that came up with the idea for him to blow out the candles on the chandelier above the table before the two get busy on it but it was a damned good idea because that was a death trap waiting to happen. Even without the fire element, it is still a precarious object that Jay has to be aware of as she rides her steed.

As Corvus hammers into her from below - screeching halt for an edit - cut to a moonlit landscape with - wait - is that Gia Steel? WTF? Ok- back to the lord's house where Xander is busy piledriving into Jay. OH wait. Xander seems to have an idea that Miss Taylor isn't aware of, he wants to lick her for a minute but she starts to roll over, Corvus having to grab her legs and pull her back up into position before continuing his piledriving efforts, Jay stifling a giggle or three as they switch into a different position so he can rub his cock between her tits. Then, it's back to the table for some more drilling action - wait there's a knock at the door. Begrudgingly, Xander abandons his hole and receives the caller who will introduce the plot driver (complete with visual and audio effects). As the plot thickens, Jay tends to her abandoned hole herself and the music swells as she masturbates. (It is kind of weird but actually works pretty well from a cinematic standpoint as the camera swaps between her and Xander who is now busy with another matter) Xander all of a sudden remembers he was mid-stroke when the door knock happened and goes back to finishing himself off inside of Jay, twice.

Scene 2. Anya Olsen, Eric John (labeled as Gia Steel in Scene Select)

Anya has grown to like her tutor and is ready for a new kind of lesson. Propping herself up on the table, she gets her kitty licked and then dicked. She's a quick learner and soon has her legs atop her tutor's shoulders as he powers in and out of her. While he continues his ramming, he works on taking off Anya's clothes, which anyone familiar with garb from that period will attest that it is no easy feat. Instinct seems to take over as Anya all of a sudden knows how to slurp and jerk a sword. Astute viewers will note that neither of the pair has pubic hair, which probably was not the norm for the era.

Olsen's character comes from a wealthy family who obviously gave her riding lessons from a very young age as she mounts and rides her steed with ease, the camera filming her bouncing action in slow motion. Playback speed goes back to normal as Eric carries her to a sofa where he hammers into her. Anya grips the sofa arm and moans constantly as he works her over, the playback going between normal and slow-mo. Some aerial acrobatics are introduced and then she finishes off her tutor with her hand, in slow-mo for good measure.

Scene 3.  Audrey Noir, Wrex Oliver (labeled as Audrey Noir in Scene Select)

Audrey Noir is someone I follow on social media regularly and she's a sweetheart of a beauty, which is why I can't figure out why she doesn't have more producers hiring her. Wrex has about 160 titles under his belt but a majority of them are web scenes I've never watched, although I am aware of his AVN-award winning scene in Facialized 4. Here, the duo has snuck off to a castle hallway for a quickie although again, the medieval garb takes some time to strip off. Once Audrey's clothes are off, she sits on an upholstered bench and does some sword swallowing, her eyes attentive to him. Pushing her back, Oliver starts plowing her dark-haired hole.

Oliver leans back, pulling Noir atop him for some bounce time. There's a lot of closeups which really make no sense, like Audrey's midriff from the side, or her shoulders but it does go to a wide shot as she apparently has a screaming orgasm. Other camera angles, while composed nicely, are quite ineffective at showing any sex that happens. The duo dance through a number of positions, music kicking in as the camerawork goes back to slow motion action, focused mainly on Audrey's boobs which seems really bizarre. Have you ever seen someone sneeze in slow-mo...it's like that only it goes on for quite a bit? It makes a bit more sense as Oliver pulls out of her to pop on her patch.

Scene 4.  Jay Taylor, Miranda Miller, Evan Stone (labeled as Audrey Noir in Scene Select)

Evan carries two unconscious maidens into his tent and wakes them by pounding on a ritual drum, waving his stick over them. He doesn't speak their language and motions for them to drink some liquid but Jay has a different idea of what should go into their mouths and they reach under his loincloth. Our Hall of Fame swordsman understands that language and is soon shoving his cock in and out of their mouths. Jay is the first one he penetrates, as she started the whole thing. Not wanting to leave her friend just watching, she flips over to lick some coochie.

The ladies take turns getting Stoned, Taylor a more active rider than Miller during the first go-round but Miranda finding a groove on her 2nd ride. Evan lines the ladies up, bent over so he can swap holes. Then, he just goes back to drilling them singly with Taylor's tight hole being the one that brings him to fruition.

Final Thoughts: It took me a couple of days to get through this one. That first scene has a lot going on in it and I had to process that as I thought it was setting up a continuing storyline that would require all of my attention to keep track of all the players. That turned out not to be the case, as it is ultimately a series of vignettes curated from the site BareMaidens.com. That site is looking to fill a niche in the marketplace as a community devoted to producing fantasy porn set in a medieval world and that will definitely appeal to many viewers and if that sounds good, head over there and check out the whole concept.

But, back to this movie. Ultimately, it left me a bit confused because of that first scene. I kept expecting them to tie that back into the tales at some point on the disc but they don't. My frequent readers will know that things like that drive me nuts. Why spend a ton of time on an ultra-complicated storyline in the first act only to abandon it altogether in the second and third acts? Also, why advertise Gia Steel first on the DVD cover but she only appears in the middle of the first scene to throw a wrench into the sex Jay and Xander are having? I need follow-up on these things! Now, let me address the menu mislabeling in the chapter selection...from the description on their website this studio is using some high-end gear but they obviously weren't paying a whole lot of attention when it came time to make a disc.

Okay, those are my problems with the disc as a whole (besides the complete lack of any extra material) but overall, I like the idea they are striving for here. I just don't think it's ready for prime time quite yet. The gear is obviously to snuff but there were some camera angles I thought should have been a bit more inclusive of the action at hand. I also don't understand the slow-mo thing but okay. I honestly picked this disc to review because of Jay Taylor and Audrey Noir, two ladies I'm fond of but hardly ever see cross my screen. I think both did very well here, as did everyone else. It was just minor things on the production side that I felt fell short of the ambitions behind them. It's an interesting concept that I'd like to see developed further and fans of fantasy roleplay should definitely check it out. Watch On Demand.
