Audio/Video Quality: The Switch was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director B. Skow for Girlfriends Films. While the capable editing by Tony Peaches and writing by David Stanley certainly added to the project, there were few other credits listed, Skow likely in charge of the sole camera used to capture the trysts (the front cover list as a cameraman aside) and stock shots, the minimal feature elements showing some perverse humor. There was no continuous company watermark on the screen for those who care and the accurate flesh tones looked good. The aural components of the movie by Bina were in stereo but provided no noticeable separation, directionality, or depth, the voices easily heard and the minimal music otherwise uncredited.

Body of Review: B. Skow is a world renowned director of both gonzo and feature porn distributed by Girlfriends Films. His latest release is a feature called The Switch, the movie a set of four sex scenes used to help tell a familiar story about two men who thought the grass was greener on the other side of the fence. If you’ve ever watched “The Change-Up”, “Freaky Friday”, “17 Again”, or one of the dozens of other mainstream releases mining this common theme of two people swapping identities via supernatural means (this feature written by David Stanley leaning heavily on The Change-Up over the others). With smoking hot Katrina Jade, a babe that somehow didn’t merit inclusion on the front cover, curvy Romi Rain, and cute Mia Malkova playing opposite the real leads of the movie, Xander Corvus and Chad White, the low budget release might not have looked as good as Skow’s latest gonzo titles I appreciate so publicly but it did offer some amusing jabs that Hollywood left on the table. The back cover said it like this: “When Chad, a straight-laced single-dad, and Xander, a depraved porn star, switch bodies as the result of a supernatural, once-in-a-lifetime event, i they both discover what it's like to live, and to love, as someone else. But after returning back to their own bodies, and losing their new girlfriends as a result, Chad and Xander realize that, in order to be the people they always wanted to be, they'll have to learn to be each other instead.”

The company press release described the production like this: “Skow for Girlfriends Films is releasing new adult comedy “The Switch” featuring two previous winners and one nominee of AVN’s Best New Starlet award: Romi Rain (2013 Winner), Mia Malkova (2014 Winner), and Katrina Jade (2016 Nominee). The three powerhouse adult film actresses light up the screen with outstanding performances. Romi Rain welcomed the opportunity to show off her self-proclaimed “breast upgrade,” while newcomer Katrina Jade holds her own in scenes that show off her ample bosom. Meanwhile, Director B. Skow has credited Mia Malkova for the movie’s XXX rating in a recent Twitter post. According to a blog post on SkowVisual.com, the feature-length production tells the story of a straight-laced single-dad (Chad White) and a depraved porn star (Xander Corvus), who switch bodies as the result of a supernatural, once-in-a-lifetime event. They quickly discover both what it's like to live, and to love, as someone else. But after returning back to their own bodies, and losing their new girlfriends as a result, Chad and Xander realize that, in order to be the people they always wanted to be, they'll have to learn to be each other instead. Acclaimed director/producer B. Skow continues to raise the bar in adult entertainment with this latest installment in his comedy library. His porn comedy “In the Flesh” was nominated for Best Comedy at the 2016 AVN Awards. Of making “The Switch,” storyteller B. Skow says, “Most body swap movies have traditionally revolved around the premise that the grass is not always greener. In this film we explore the notion of, ‘What if the grass really is greener. Then what?’ And we take it from there.”” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Katrina Jade, an exotic tattooed hotty destined for bigger roles, was up first with Xander Corvus, as “Lonnie Libido”; a gal with “no shame”. The annoying flashbacks and breaking down the third wall led to her bent over with a thong nestled deep in her juicy ass, Xander using a crop to smack her before fingering her and getting her warmed up. The switch had taken place and Skow was a porn director (for as “Splooge” for “Hate Fuck Porn”) looking for a hate fuck, her disdain for Xander played up after she began by masturbating. There was humor in how she treated the action, her black outfit including a lot of mesh as Skow described what he wanted from them. The cheese factor was decidedly high here as he squeezed her tits, the time out leading to a more romantic scene than they planned for as she decided to accommodate him, the kissing leading to him sucking her boobs and gobbling her gash, the bald beaver suitable as he probed her with his tongue. They vaginally fucked and she actively rode his turgid pecker, the gal blowing him before impaling herself on his modest boner for some heated cowgirl variations that displayed her glorious ass really well. She then finished him off orally, both of her hands eliciting the facial that milked his balls dry of semen; all to unexpected consequences.

Scene Three: Mia Malkova, the sleek blond cutie from the middle of the front cover, then had a tryst with Chad White in bed, the smoking hot blond apparently enjoying the more sexually aggressive version of Chad. They made out and he diddled her neatly trimmed bush, the guy rimming her as he shook her ass and otherwise readied her for carnal activities. There was spitting and cutaways showing Romi with Xander in the car, the cock blocker kind of interlude most thought had disappeared from porn years ago, Mia stroking Chad’s erection while inhaling it. Mia had decent eye contact and soon pushed him over the edge to nut on her crotch, a minor load of manly seed that “painted” her bush though no discernible chemistry was noticed.

Scene Four: Mia Malkova, last up as part of the old switcheroo, ended up with Xander Corvus, the sexual male lead of the entire movie. Then ended up boning together, Mia wanting a pornstar fuck rather than some limp romance once the guys switched back. They were on the nasty old couch and he was fingering her, moving to pound her pussy with his hard cock as generic rock music played to the right tempo, fading in and out as if by random. Her sweet ass looked delicious as they had vaginal sex, the action would have been more realistic to the comments had she done anal instead. There was some additional oral and doggy sex before she knelt for him, Xander dousing her mug with his spooge before she sucked him clean with a bright light on her face as though a porno was being shot.

Summary: The Switch by director B. Skow for Girlfriends Films merited a rating of Recommended for providing an entertaining stroke flick that worked as a feature too. I wish Katrina’s role had been bigger and the reliance on projectile pissing and pooping as the main joke seemed as lame as when the Hollywood version did it years ago, but Romi was good in her role and Mia, while not really allowed to act much, did offer some fine eye candy. Kudos to Xander for the most part though in terms of his acting, carrying the bulk of the non-sex and sex parts of the movie as he did earning him extra praise. In short, The Switch might have been a retread of a mainstream flick (or ten) but there was enough sex to like without things getting too weighed down in politics or “messages”, so give it a look if any of this sounds good to you too.
