Audio/Video Quality: The Bombshells 5 was presented in a crisp 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as released by director Toni Ribas for Elegant Angel. The lighting was plentiful and the general camera work by Toni (in all but scene three) decent enough, the editing by R. Patrick was pretty solid in most cases; the visuals not quite as polished as the series used to be. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English track was pretty basic with little separation or dynamic range yet I could hear the cast well enough in most cases, the music uncredited but bouncy enough to work.

Body of Review: Toni Ribas has long been a favored male performer in the industry, his work as a director for companies like Elegant Angel always showing potential. His latest release is called The Bombshells 5, a set of four scenes where the casting of extremely popular ladies made the production stand out. Each of the ladies from the four scenes is considered a mover and shaker, hence the “bombshell” nomenclature (some think to earn the title, a lady has to have big tits and ass or something). From cover gal Dani Daniels to heavily inked hotty Bonnie Rotten, curvy Summer Brielle Taylor, or sexual dynamo Romi Rain, each of the ladies is considered an industry bombshell so the fine casting of the movie should be appreciated. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Dani Daniels, the alluring young lady featured on the front cover, was up first in her cover outfit, the sheer black lingerie leaving something to the imagination during the tease montage. While attractive Dani Daniels (look at her eyes!) was featured on the front cover, it would be a tough call to pick between her and wildly sexual Bonnie Rotten or enthusiastic hotty Romi Rain, or even busty blond boner inducing Summer Brielle Taylor, my reservation over ranking this one a step higher bouncing back and forth repeatedly as I reviewed it. In short, The Bombshells 5 lived up to previous volumes of the series shot under a different director, Toni coming a long way to strut his stuff as a “go to” director of merit. I still prefer five all new scenes in my porn and lengthier tease montages but as others adopt this level of fuck for the buck, ratings may accommodate the new reality of value. In any case, each of the ladies gave a good performance though Romi Rain and Bonnie Rotten stood out so give this one some consideration if you’re looking for a gonzo winner.
