Audio/Video Quality: Manuel’s Maximum Penetration 1 was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Lensman for Jules Jordan Video. I know there is some minor discussion still going on as to who the director really is, various performers telling me that for their scene it was X but they know for another scene it was Y, the fact being that whether the one shooting the footage is really Chris Streams, Simply Dave, or Manuel Ferrara himself, the footage always tends to look just fine with good lighting, smooth camera work, decent framing, and accurate flesh tones most of the time. There was a company watermark on the lower right corner of the screen at all times and I did observe some compression artifacts while watching it on my television versus the computer monitor but like most titles attributed to JJV these days, you should be happy with the picture. The aural aspects of the show were presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English, the vocals a bit hollow at times and the music droning when it reared it’s ugly head but that was not common, the mix of the audio components much like the video editing in that most of the major issues were cleared up in post production (a sign of all titles distributed by JJV).

Body of Review: Lensman is an alias for a director or directors shooting gonzo porn at Jules Jordan Video these days, most of the movies featuring Manuel Ferrara. As such, speculation runs rampant that Manuel himself is often the one holding the camera, especially in POV shoots, the bottom line being that in the adult entertainment industry, the lines are already very blurred as to who is truly the director or most projects, some crediting the man with the camera in his hand, others by who selected the cast or made major decisions, and still others suggesting the whole thing is a scam done for marketing purposes. While it would have been more consistent if Manuel was the performer in each scene, I have to admit that Toni and Ramon did a great job here too, Romi Rain, Dani Daniels, Summer Brielle Taylor, and Alina Li all offering some variations in their scenes to make this worth a rating of Highly Recommended. In short, Manuel’s Maximum Penetration 1 continued to show that regardless of who was behind the camera capturing the heated trysts, the selection of top notch ladies and men performing made it work so well, the technical matters still looking better than 85% of the current market even if I wanted even more tease from them and better extras so check it out and let me know what you think but this was a winner all around for me.
