Audio/Video Quality: Boss Lady was presented in a crisp, anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for New Sensations. Using the talents of Paul Woodcrest and Eddie Powell on cameras, editor Gabrielle Anex, and the usual crew responsible for the company’s best efforts, Jacky applied the technical team much like she does on her other works to get things looking and sounding great. The flesh tones were accurate and the composition of most camera angles looked good, the editing as smooth as ever to draw attention away from the technical side so viewers can just enjoy the resulting four vignettes. There was a company watermark on the lower right hand corner of the screen for those who care. The aural components were satisfying too, the music, vocals, and ambient sounds all blended in for a welcome upgrade from the plethora of generic sounding releases I put up with on a weekly basis. As with the visual aspects of the movie, the audio portion was handled nicely, perhaps other companies will start paying more attention too.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James is a popular director at New Sensations, her various releases garnering substantial acclaim in recent years. Her latest release in the “Tales From The Edge” series is called Boss Lady, a set of four vignettes showing a female employer/supervisor in charge, a slight variation from “”Boss Fantasies” that I enjoyed last year. I think this sort of tryst, and fantasy for that matter, is much more common than boning a family member, a step family member, or letting your wife fuck other men without the male getting some side pussy so it seemed a good move to explore further as the company looks for the next big thing. The ladies this time were Romi Rain, Karmen Karma, Chanel Preston, and Danica Dillon so there was a lot of potential fuck for the buck, no bonus scenes like the company’s other directors get but a good BTS all the same. The back cover said this about the feature: “When Chanel can't get an employee to confess who forged a company check using traditional punishment, sex becomes her most powerful weapon. Working for his wife's best friend becomes unmanageable for Ryan when he can no longer resist her physical advances. Karmen, a high-maintenance celebrity musician, uses her clout to persuade her personal assistant into doing absolutely everything - including unusual sexual favors. Romi gives potential employee Tyler an up-close and personal look at her vagina when he struggles to come up with a convincing sales pitch for a pocket pussy.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Chanel Preston, the front cover hotty that I have championed for years as a performer, was up first with newcomer Damon Dice, her sexy pink bikini undies underneath her alluring business attire. She was the boss and apparently free to interrogate employees as though they were in Quantanamo, having tied Damon to a chair to find out what he knew about someone that forged a large company check. Including Romi Rain in any vignette makes sense, Chanel Preston is literally as good as it gets in the genre, and Karmen Karma as well as Danica Dillon are climbing up the steps of the porn pantheon for many. In short then, Boss Lady was the latest in the “Tales From The Edge” line that shows a great deal of promise in allowing the company to provide an alternative to some of the hit or miss sub genres the company has explored of late, some very cute humor added in by the talented writer/director in each vignette too.
