Extras: In terms of extras, the 13:38 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Jamal Jhonson was the best for me. The inclusion of a standard DVD will appease those who have yet to get a Blu-ray player but frankly, given the quality of upgrade and the current price of such devices, I doubt many reading this will be without one. There was also a photogallery and some trailers.

Audio/Video Quality: Bikini Bang Bang was presented in a very appealing 1.78:1 widescreen as shot by director Robby D. for Digital Playground. The movie package included both the standard definition DVD as well as the Blu-ray disc, each having issues though the high definition version was a modest upgrade. The editing by Kurt Tortcher was generally fair, the production doing a good job of blending the modest feature elements with the sexual trysts again though they were really basic on both accounts. The biggest issue I had was the camera work by Billy Da Kid, Alex Tea, Baka, and Micky Doom, it looking like there were multiple cameras used at the same time but with different settings. This made every edit point stand out and look cheap, the colors saturated in some shots while the lighting washed out other portions of the same scenes. The 5.1 Surround audio was also clear in both versions of the movie, the difference less striking but the production sounded like the vocals, music, and ambient noises were all put together well enough, Seth Cardigan credited with this aspect of the movie.

Body of Review: Robby D. is the acclaimed lead director at Digital Playground, his latest movie sent for review called Bikini Bang Bang. The movie was an action feature this time, not relying on any contract gals or special theme other than guns & money. The ladies included in the festivities this time were Romi Rain, Chloe Foster, Kiera Winters, Sienna Day, and Rilynn Rae; a decent enough bunch with all the appropriate curves and good looks. The back cover described the movie like this: “Everyday is a party for four sexy surfer gals who live their lives to the fullest – hitting the waves, partying, and screwing random men. In one violent moment, their erotic paradise is forever destroyed. After a night of steamy, hardcore sex, Chloe Foster wakes up to witness her boyfriend dragged to the next room and shot by a ruthless thug! Panicked, Chloe tries to escape but is caught in the process. In order to save their friend, beach babes Rilynn Rae, Sienna Day, and Kiera Winters must toss aside their surf boards and dive head first into a dark, new world. Luckily they find the perfect guide in Tommy Gunn, a mysterious stranger who tempts them into illicit missions, as addictive as they are dangerous!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Sienna Day, a fetching blond bombshell with a skinny body and some curvy breasts, was up first with Tyler Nixon, the man playing football with her on the sandy beaches before a tackle led to them ending up in a bedroom. Summary: Bikini Bang Bang by director Robby D. for Digital Playground was a feature production meriting a rating of Rent It or better depending on your personal tastes, the technical values taking a significant hit here. The feature elements were on the light side using just enough story to tie the sex scenes together but it had some dark themes too, my favorites of the show being Romi Rain and Sienna Day. In short, Bikini Bang Bang had some modest levels of fuck for the buck, a storyline tying the sexual trysts together, and pretty much what I expected of the company so check it out.
