The Movie:

Pink Visual has brought 'alt porn/punk porn' guy Rob Rotten on board to play around in their ongoing Reality series. The results? Five scenes of well shot smut with a slight alt-ish edge, but which are basically just your standard, slightly above average gonzo scenes. No plot, no story, nothing to tie the scenes together - but hey, the girls are cute. But yeah, why is this called Reality? Each scene has an obviously phony set up and the performers are not particularly convincing. It's steamy enough and hot enough to be sure, but let's be honest here, it's got nothing to do with reality at all.

Here's a look at how it all plays out:

Scene 1 - Amber Rayne: This first scene stars brown haired cutie Amber as she talks to two guys, one of whom is Otto Bauer in a bar. As the conversation continues, they start rubbing her through her clothes as they talk her into having a threesome with her. Her clothes come off and she gets her pussy eaten pretty thoroughly as she hands out blowjobs and gets her ass spanked a bit. She gets fingered and once she's primed the guys take turns fucking her face and her pussy, as she rides them and/or bends over to get plowed from behind. This shot on digital video production looks pretty clean presented here in a reasonably stable anamorphic 1.78.1 widescreen transfer. There is some mild edge enhancement in a couple of spots and a noticeable bit of mpeg compression evident throughout in the darker scenes. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on (though some of the camera work in a couple of spots is quite shaky), and aside from the fact that this digital video production looks like a digital video production and as such suffers from the minor defects usually associated with the format, everything looks as good as you'd realistically expect it to.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. There is no background music used anywhere during the feature aside from the opening credits and the levels do tend to fluctuate quite a bit from scene to shining scene but aside from that there isn't much to whine about here. The audio is fine.

Extras:

First up is a bonus scene starring The Lins And The Devilles. Set on what looks like some sort of talk show stage (???) it starts off with the guys getting head, each from a respective lady, before the girls hop on top to ride some dick. Lots of grunting and trash talking ensues and as each guy ejaculates he grunts like a caveman, which is always charming.

Pink Visual has also supplied a Behind The Scenes segment (8:50) in which Morgan Layne shows off her cute little body before letting us what her scene as it's being shot. There's a brief interlude that kind of works as an interview but this is mostly a fly on the wall piece. Morgan also has a striptease segment in which she gets naked, plays with her fake tits and fingers her box for us.

Rounding out the extras are trailers for a few other Pink Visual releases, a still gallery and a weblink. Over the extras menu a girl encourages to visit the Pink Visual website, effectively turning the menu screen into a really irritating commercial - a truly obnoxious trend that should be stopped before it spreads.

Final Thoughts:

Rob Rotten's Reality has nothing to do with reality whatsoever but it does serve up five decent scenes, each with a nice looking girl in the lead role. The sex is well shot and performed enthusiastically and there's some obvious care put into the set design, art direction and camerawork. It may not be a modern classic but it's definitely got enough pants tightening moments that it's worth a look, and as such, comes recommended.
