Extras: There were trailers and spam before getting to the actual extras menu. There I found the movie included three unrelated bonus scenes (described in detail below); Samantha Saint, Rilynn Rae, and Toni Ribas in The Candy Striper (19:46 minutes), Summer Brielle Taylor & Dani Daniels in Busty Cops (21:46 minutes), and Kaylani Lei with James Deen in Hotel No Tell (21:57 minutes). There was also a photogallery, more trailers, and a company promotional reel.

Audio/Video Quality: The Masterpiece was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jonathan Morgan for Wicked Pictures. While I have not seen all of Jonathan’s works in recent years, and I’ve followed his career a lot longer than most, this one looks very crisp and clear just like his other works at Wicked, the color tones accurate and the composition of the shots all enhancing the look of the ladies. Jonathan and Andre Madness were in charge of camera work and much of the rest of the technical qualities, Enigma editing, and Fliktor taking care of lighting gaffing, Mila Vandamme taking care of most makeup. The lack of continuous company watermark on the lower right hand corner (or anywhere else) was a plus too, though the editing was a bit abrupt at times for my tastes. The aural components provided fairly clear vocals, expected music, and a blend of ambient sounds the better works provide these days, some care and attention from both Jonathan and Andre used to make the sound better than what you will find at the competition in most cases for a modest budget feature comedy.

Body of Review: Jonathan Morgan is easily one of the best comedy porn directors around if you look at his body of work for Wicked Pictures. His recent release of The Masterpiece proves he can make an entertaining flick on a modern budget too, certainly made easier due to casting ladies such as Summer Brielle Taylor, Bailey Blue, and Kaylani Lei, among others. The time tested plot involved two parts stolen manuscript (“The Words”) and one part “The Producers” combined with all the sex Morgan likes to include in his flicks. As a lower budget stroke flick with enough fun factor entertainment for casual fans, this worked to a degree. The back cover described the movie like this: “Sex and Humor run rampant as Steve (a B-Movie director), steals a script and films it as his "breakthrough" movie. Throw in a Russian Mobster Financier who insists on more T&A, an "over the top" lesbian shower scene and an oversexed All-Star cast and you have the makings of a XXX Masterpiece.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Summer Brielle Taylor, the big busted booty babe blond seen in the seep background of the front cover by James Deen, was up first with him in a bedroom. Summary: The Masterpiece by director Jonathan Morgan for Wicked Pictures was amusing as a comedy feature, the performers adding as much due to their acting skills as their performance abilities. For me, it worked so I rated it as Recommended, the technical aspects well handled and the extras worth a look even if the bulk of them (the bonus scenes) were not truly related to the movie (I missed the BTS), the cheesy story elements laid out as only Morgan could get away with smiling. In short, The Masterpiece was well written and served to showcase a cast of cuties well enough to check out, the director wisely keeping the demanding dialogue to a minimum to emphasize the sexual elements as viewers expect.
