Extras: The first disc included a cast list, some trailers, and some websites (six for her movies and one for the company), mentioning what was on the second disc. The second disc also had a cast list but included some filmographies, trailers and a cumshot recap. The lack of an extensive Behind the Scenes feature (a trademark for most of Belladonna’s flicks) was not a major issue here given that the movie itself incorporated such footage as part of the “reality porno” concept espoused on the front cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Belladonna’s Spontaneass was presented in the usual 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Belladonna for Evil Angel in a standard definition release using the MPEG-2 codec with 480 resolution. As expected, the mixed level of lighting resulted in some grain and video noise, the creative team behind the project focusing on raw energy and kink over technical superiority, most of the scenes looking unpolished and rough. Still, the action was clear enough and fetish fans will find the sheer amount of kinky fuck for the buck to be enough to largely compensate for the technical limitations that still remain. The camera angles were a mixed batch and the video bitrate hovered in the high 4.9 Mbps area when I spot checked it, nothing out of the ordinary for the company but it did not look nearly as harsh as some of the smaller fetish companies either. In any case, the audio was presented in a similar fashion with a 2.0 Dolby Digital English (in the usual 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate) offering that sounded hollow with no separation between the channels and no music to bore you with. Still, it was not significantly worse than most gonzo titles out at this time, the sonic portion less important to most fans than the visuals.

Body of Review: Belladonna has been directing various porn titles for Evil Angel for years now, often providing a stark alternative to formulaic corporate porn. Rather than stick with a single sexual theme as others do, Belladonna explores all sorts of nasty (but fulfilling) sex, the latest title coming in for review being the reality themed Belladonna’s Spontaneass. This time, there was an opening warm up scene between Jamey Janes and Rico Strong (an interracial blowjob) but the main events were the two orgies; one on each disc, that included all the usual behind the scenes footage. There was no script and Belladonna herself jumped in with her full entourage of sexual tricks, marking a couple of great group sex scenes easily the strongest I can recall for the entire year. The first of these included a lot of anal action but both made full use of the ladies doing each other as well as the men, the chemistry, enthusiasm, and passion all brought forth being the kind that makes Bella’s movies so welcome to many of us at Xcritic.

They laughed and had fun with it all, bringing a sense of normalcy to the acts that almost all other orgies have lacked over the years, making this one stand out so much as a powerful reminder that sex is supposed to be fun, not just about getting off. I’m not going to outline each act in a laundry list but suffice it to say that no one seemed to lack having a great time and the entire group appeared to have a lot of connection to one another, Belladonna standing out from the pack only slightly as the leader (even then, only at times) whereas the others actively rode and got off (Kimberly Kane getting into it really well). There was a lot of taste testing and the ladies all catered to both men and women, the loads of population pudding unleashed into mouths for sharing.

Scene Three: Lily LaBeau, Tori Lux, Sinn Sage, Kimberly Kane, Belladonna, Mr. Pete, John Strong, and Mark Wood, were up next as the sole scene on the second disc. The first half hour was spent talking about a variety of things, Belladonna herself initiating the sex by getting some Mark and John inside of her. Before long, the others joined in and the full blown orgy was on. The throating, lesbian, and general vaginal thrusting of peckers in pussies was well documented, only a few breaks as some interview material was added in. Lily was especially inviting though no one would argue that Kimberly or Belladonna were not great once more. Tori was sexually aggressive and Sinn seemed to find her voice, the positions varying as to what each wanted and the clean up oral punctuating the participation nicely. The most extreme act this time was Belladonna (of course) doing her double vaginal (DPP) but the sharing aspects were best exemplified by the ending pop shots, the spunk delivered directly to the mouths of the women for sharing; their chemistry undeniably solid.

Summary: Belladonna’s Spontaneass by director Belladonna for Evil Angel was superior for the genre, capturing all sorts of imaginative exploits of a top notch cast getting freaky in ways that provided serious replay value and strokability, the chemistry and energy of the cast such that I rated it as an Xcritic Pick. Belladonna was as driven as ever, Kimberly Kane always a welcome addition to a cast, Lily LaBeau, Tori Lux, and others all adding some flavor as they proceeded to fuck like horny bunnies in heat. In short, Belladonna’s Spontaneass showcased a variety of talent doing what they wanted to do for as long as they wanted to do it and enjoying it as much as possible, a far cry from the scripted porn you might see more frequently at contract companies so give this one a look if you want to see some seriously strokable material.
