“Relentless” by director Kayden Kross offers four cinematic vignettes with hints of BDSM and kink. Instead, we’re dropped in medias res, where cinema and dialogue reveal the plot.

Scene 1: Mia Milano and Markus Dupree

“Try Me” was nominated for Best Group Sex Scene by AVN and Best Sex Scene at the XBiz Awards. It showcases wild, fun and shameless sex centered around the insatiable Riley Reid.

Light on story, the scene centers on a sexually open party and serious shades of jealousy.

There’s something for everybody. Vicki Chase provides the nasty, with impressive deep throats, anal, and two double-penetration stacks. And then there’s everybody’s favorite big-busted newcomer, Gabbie Carter, with your more traditional hardcore fucking.

I’ve got to give credit to Gianna Dior. Although there’s not a lot of dialogue between Mick and Dior, the body language and awkward silence speak louder than words. You can feel the conflicted emotions bubbling to the surface on Dior’s tortured brow and collapsed shoulders. Blue woos the brunette with a dance, and the rest is history.

Before the actual sex scene, Kross outdoes herself with real cinematic flair. You’ve got intriguing light and shadow playing upon beautiful architecture. All of this together with perfect shot composition make the opener feel very much like an indie art film instead of a porno.

When Dior finally gives in, the sex is cathartic. The duo do such a good job of playing off that intense release that accompanies a long awaited fuck. It is the perfect blend of lusty hardcore and gentle romance. There’s plenty of soft kisses and slow, tender penetration.

In Kayden Kross fashion, the cumshot is not the end-all-be-all for this scene. After Blue pulls out and cums all over her neck, the show continues with gentle fingering, eye contact, and an amazing orgasm for Dior.

Scene 4: Cecilia Lion and Michael Vegas

Kayden Kross’ tendency toward cinematic storytelling shines through in “Patient.” This psychological thriller sees Cecillia Lion losing track of reality under the devious tutelage of her dominant therapist, Michael Vegas.

Kross offers a glitchcore-inspired glimpse into Lion’s fantasies in a suspenseful intro. Lion’s fantasies come alive like glimpses into a nightmare. It’s a bit like watching a person lose grip with reality and slowly descend into madness.

It’s beautifully cut, and even makes the viewer question what’s really going on. In that way, “Patient” has a bit in common with psychological thrillers like “Existenz” or “Inception,” although the dark neo-goth aesthetic might have more in common with “The Matrix.”

Of course, the whole thing gives way to a wonderful sex scene that sees hints of bondage and marvelous fucking that can only be described as hungry. Lion reacts with such intensity and Vegas provides magnificent two-handed fingering and an incredible cumshot that waterfalls all along Lion’s lithe body.

Final Thoughts:

“Relentless” stands up as one of Deeper’s finer vignette films. Each scene carries that perfect combo of cinema, story, and satisfying sex. Most critics agree that the big orgy in scene two is a must-see, but the whole movie is really quite good--especially Gianna Dior’s enticing performance.

There is no fault to be found, and couples fans will undoubtedly love this clear XCritic Pick.
