This shot on digital video production looks pretty clean presented here in a reasonably stable 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen presentation. There is some mild edge enhancement in a couple of spots and a noticeable bit of mpeg compression evident throughout in the darker scenes. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on, and aside from the fact that this digital video production looks like a digital video production and as such suffers from the minor defects usually associated with the format, everything looks as good as you'd realistically expect it to. You should also know, going in, that there's been some post production image tweaking here to give the movie a sort of gritty, underground look and feel. It works in the context of what Vonn Fink is trying to do here, but those who have to have their porn look squeaky clean and ultra bright may not necessarily dig it so much.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. There is no background music used anywhere during the feature aside from the opening credits and the levels do tend to fluctuate quite a bit from scene to shining scene but aside from that there isn't much to whine about here. The audio is fine.

Extras:

Don't look for too much in the way of extra features on this release as they're limited to a slideshow of hardcore images, two trailers for Sister Midnite (hard and soft variants), two trailers for Razordolls (hard and soft variants), Suthern Cumfort and Blacklight Beauty. Animated menus and scene selection are provided.

Final Thoughts:

Alt porn/goth girl enthusiasts will dig this even if it's unlikely that the gonzo obsessed masses won't. The girls are all heavily tattooed or pierced or both and Vonn Fink puts them into some rather unusual situations, making this one stand out from the herd enough that some might find it too weird. That said, if you like your smut with art-punk flair, Seek And Destroy will probably float your boat. It's well shot, it's interesting, it's hot and it's definitely got its own thing going on. If you figure you're part of its target audience, give it a shot and consider it recommended, even if Pulse needs a slap for not bothering with any extras.
