The picture quality for Oil Spills 2 is very solid all around. The film was shot in HD so the resolution is better than average. There's also little to no grain, no compression, and really there's only a miniscule amount of interlacing to contend with. The details are sharp, the colors are finely contrasted, and all in all this is a great looking release for a standard definition DVD. The sound quality is on par with what you'd expect as well, with a finely balanced offering that differentiates between the stereo channels decently enough.
