Anal Chaos looks good in this 1080p AVC 1.85.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. It isn't quite as crisp as some of the better offerings on HD but it's definitely a step up from standard definition. The clarity and the color reproduction is where you'll notice if the most, meaning that you'll see a lot more of the good and the bad here in terms of the performers and their features. The first scene looks a little orangish for some reason (possibly the lighting) but aside from that there's little to complain about here. There aren't any edge enhancement or mpeg compression issues to gripe about and the image stays clear and detailed throughout the feature.

Sound:

The sole audio track on this Blu-ray release is a 48 kHz 224 kbps Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo mix in English. It would have been nice to see a true high definition audio track on this release to take full advantage of what the Blu-ray format can offer, but that didn't happen for whatever reason. That said, the 2.0 track that is here sounds fine. What little dialogue there is sounds crisp and clear and the levels are all properly balanced. There aren't any issues with hiss or distortion and the soundtrack has some nice clarity to it.

Extras:

The extras start off with a Behind The Scenes (28:26, anamorphic widescreen) featurette presented in HD. Here we see the girls prepping for their scenes, posing for photos, and getting their hair and make up done. They break to talk to the camera a few times and we get some brief interview snippets here and there. We also get some outtakes from some of the fuck scenes that make up the bulk of the feature, a few of which are rather amusing. This isn't really a documentary so much as it is a collection of random footage from the shoot, but there are a couple of interesting bits in here that do make it worth checking out.

Aside from that we get a decent photo gallery of hardcore and softcore images, trailers for fourteen Teravision and Iron Cross DVD releases, animated motion menus, and scene selection.

Final Thoughts:

If you dig anal, you'll dig Anal Chaos. The audio is of only average quality and the extras are nothing exciting but the transfer is decent and the feature is as well. Recommended.
