The Movie:

Matt Zane's Radium 2 mixes up metal and porn with some decent results. The focus is obviously on the sex but in between each of the four scenes on this DVD we're treated to a music video from bands like Ill Nino, In This Moment and Society I. There isn't a plot of any kind but they do mix it up a bit by including some interviews and the videos, so bonus points for creativity there.

Each of the four scenes on this disc start off with an interview segment where the girls talk about music and sex with some of the bands, and then a tease sequence where they strut for the camera and show off what the Good Lord gave them. From there, they burst into fucky-sucky mode as follows:

Some shimmering shows up as do some minor mpeg compression artifacts but overall this is a perfectly acceptable, if unremarkable, transfer from Matt Zane and company.

Sound: 

The English language Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track is rock solid, delivering nice, clear audio for the music sequences, the interviews and the sex scenes. There aren't any problems with hiss or distortion and everything comes through loud and clear.

Extras: 

Radium 2 contains a few bonus features including some more interview footage with Ill Nino, Dirt and In This Moment. There is an outtake reel included here with some amusing bloopers in it as well as a video for Society I's song, The Strangest Life I Have Ever Known. Also look for a Radium 2 Theme Song button that will allow you to play the track that blares over the opening credits. Trailers for the first Radium, PunkdurAss and Tattooed And Tight are included as is a plethora of cheesy phone sex commercials that play before you get to the main menu.

Final Thoughts:

Radium 2 is geared towards metalheads so how much you get out of the non-sex portions of the movie will depend on how into the music you are. That sex, the sex is hot and the girls all look very nice from start to finish, making this more accessible than it would be otherwise and as such, it's worth a look to the curious. Recommended.
