This is pretty much the epitome of the 'teen' style gonzo film right here, but Hustler plays it up with a sense of fun that works in this releases favor. That said, you'd think that this centennial celebration of young flesh would warrant some sort of special edition release. Apparently Hustler disagrees, as it really doesn't deviate from the formula they've used for some time now at all, which is a bit of a disappointment, maybe. That said, the sex is still hot and the girls all look great - that's probably what matters the most.

Scene 1 - Katie Michaels And Prinzzess Sahara: That cute curvy blonde on the cover, Prinzzess, gets down and dirty with dark haired hottie Katie Michaels in this scene that starts off with the girls playing around with their boat. Barely Legal #100 looks good in this 1080p AVC 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer save for the fact that much of it looks very hot and over lit, which reduces detail in some shots. There aren't any issues at all with compression artifacts or edge enhancement while color reproduction looks okay and unlike #99, the skin tones look good here. All in all, this is a pretty solid transfer with way more clarity than the SD release could ever hope to offer. You'll notice it not only in terms of looking at the performers but in the backgrounds and sets as well, there's just a lot more texture and tone and depth to the image.

Sound:

The sole audio track on this Blu-ray release is a 48 kHz 448 kbps Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo Surround Sound mix in English. The audio on this release is fine but it isn't as impressive as the transfer is. Dialogue stays clean and clear throughout and the levels are all properly balanced except for the first scene, which for some reason sounds a fair bit quieter than the other four. The score sounds good and there aren't any problems with background hiss or distortion at all. The audio here won't blow you away but it certainly won't disappoint you either.

Extras:

The only really substantial extra on this release is a Behind The Scenes (14:58) featurette. It's worth a watch if you dug the feature as it contains some interviews with the girls, starting with Katie Michaels who plays with her tits for us. Prinzzess is up next and she shows off the goods and teases us but doesn't go much further than that. Thankfully Heather and Kandi, who are next, both spread wide open for the camera and indulge in a little bit of self love for us. Kandi keeps her glasses on for us as she does, which is a nice touch. Bella rounds things out nicely by following their example. This isn't educational in the last nor does it even come close to showing what it was like on set but it does provide some high quality pussy footage and that definitely counts for something.

Aside from that, there's also a quick, five minute documentary that gives a very brief history of the infamous Barely Legal series of movies entitled Barely Legal: How It All Began, which has been included on all of the recent releases in the line. Motion menus, trailers, a still gallery, contact info, and scene selection round out the supplements on this release. All of the extras are presented in standard definition.

Final Thoughts:

Hustler hasn't done anything new here or made much of an effort to celebrate this long running series' history and success, but if you're into the series and what it has to offer this one belongs on your shelf with the rest. The sex is hot and well shot and the girls are all fresh faced and foxy as foxy can be. The Blu-ray isn't stacked with extras but the quality is nice and Barely Legal #100 comes recommended.
