This shot on digital video production looks pretty surprisingly good here in a stable anamorphic 1.78.1 widescreen presentation. There is some mild edge enhancement in a couple of spots but no noticeable mpeg compression evident in any of the darker scenes. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on (though some of the camera work in a couple of spots is quite shaky - you'll notice this more often than not during each girl's opening tease), and aside from the fact that this digital video production looks like a digital video production and as such suffers from the minor defects usually associated with the format, everything looks as good as you'd realistically expect it to, maybe even a little better - it is annoying, however, that a VOYEUR MEDIA bug appears in the bottom right of the screen for the duration of the feature.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. There is no background music used anywhere during the feature aside from the opening credits and the levels do tend to fluctuate quite a bit from scene to shining scene but aside from that there isn't much to whine about here. The audio is fine.

Extras:

The only really substantial extra on this disc is a bonus scene with the lovely and talented Asa Akira, taken from Control Freaks. Asa talks dirty to us as she strips, gets down on the bed, fingers herself and then masturbates with a glass dildo that finds its way up her hoo-haw. There's also a behind the scenes featurette called Cutting Room Floor that gives us a look at what it was like on the set of this feature as it was in production by way of some interviews and sexy deleted bits with the girls and their toys.

Aside from that, look for a cum shot recap, a photo gallery, trailers for other Voyeur Media DVD releases, some animated menus, and a scene selection option.

Final Thoughts:

If spying in on hot girls diddling themselves is what you want, Self Service definitely delivers. Voyeur has assembled a plethora of 'A-list ass' for this release and they all seem pretty in to what they're doing. The scenes are all nicely shot and lit, the girls all look fantastic, and this release delivers pretty much exactly what it says it will. Nicely done, and highly recommended.
