Audio/Video Quality: Dirty Santa was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jakodema for Digital Playground. Billy Visual and Sir Richard Manwin III worked the cameras while Joey Pulgadas, Evulatheng, PJ Bronson, and Baggus Young handled editing, Mark Nicolson working the jib, and Kylie Ireland & Andy Appleton excellently took care of art direction. As a mini-series of six episodes, I think I would have preferred the episodes to be edited into a single movie rather than maintain the episodic manner with front & back credits every half hour or so but the flesh tones were accurate, the holiday theme silly but well handled overall, and the framing and lighting making it look good with cute special effects. The editing and camera work was well done and the art directing team hit a home run, the sex and cast nicely done too. There was no company watermark and the visuals were full of the holiday spirit. The aural aspects of the show were in the usual post production added 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround using a 448 Kbps audio bit rate, the vocals easily heard and the score well done, Seth Cardigan credited for sound (and the ambient noises were blended in nicely).

Body of Review: Jakodema is best known these days as the lead director for Digital Playground, his stand alone movies and series getting better with time. His latest to come in is called Dirty Santa, a whimsical tale of holiday spirit that should be trotted out each year to compliment the many mainstream shows we’ve all seen dozens of times, the story about Santa Claus having a rough time so he hands off his duties to three goofballs who promptly take advantage of the situation. Sure there were times when I rolled my eyes at the script and acting but it was all in good fun, the six episode length of the series a change of pace from the longer shows the company has sometimes struggled with to keep on point. With a hot cast of attractive ladies such as Performer of the Year Phoenix Marie, perky Mia Malkova, adorable Lola Foxx, Sara Luvv, Allie Haze and others, I really liked this one. The back cover described the movie like this: “After getting his butt whooped, Santa asks three guys, Tom, Dick and Harry to save Christmas by using his magical suit. The suit has the power to teleport anywhere, deliver presents and more. The men agree to help and Tom goes first, but decides to teleport to his ex-girlfriend’s house for makeup sex! Dick is next, and he quits delivering presents midway to fulfill his own naughty Christmas wish for a foursome with hot playmates. Finally it’s Harry’s turn and not only did he deliver all the presents, he was offered to take Santa’s place. Christmas is saved and the North Pole awaits Harry’s arrival, especially Mrs. Claus who’s warming up for post-holiday celebratory sex!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

It had some quirks and lack of polish at times but I cannot deny the fun factor being so plentiful, the show working for me on multiple levels. In short, Dirty Santa was a Christmas tale with all the fantasy and whimsy one might expect balanced against a solid cast having some strokable sex with lots of replay value so it admittedly stood out for me over the darker themed features that are so in vogue with some so give it a look and be prepared to smile a lot as you fill your spank bank with inspirational material courtesy of Jakodema and team.
