Extra's: Most fans will like the extra footage with Diana Devoe with Justin Slayer boning. Clocking in at just under 12.5 minutes, she managed to show exactly why Justin wanted her back in action for his movie. Her bump and grind action was solid even if she had too much junk in her trunk. This was complimented by about 8 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage with the other gals, starting off with a bit focusing on Lori Alexia after her scene. The extras also had some trailers, a photogallery, pop shot recap, a cast list and a paper DVD catalog for Evil Angel's upcoming releases in the DVD case. It wasn't the best set of extras from this superior company but it was decent considering how long the main movie was.

Audio/Video Quality: Phatty Girls 5 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color that director Justin Slayer shot it in for Evil Angel to distribute. I was pleased to note that while it was by no means great to look at, the visual aspects of the movie were superior to previous volumes in the series. The colors were accurate, the grain somewhat less prominent, the lighting okay, and the composition of the shots more flattering to the performers in most cases. There were a few compression artifacts but I saw no significant video noise and I was pleased that Mr. Slayer showed some improvement this time. The audio, on the other hand, was as average as ever with some background noises and the vocals being less pleasing than most gonzo. With no separation between the channels and limited dynamic range, I will have to wait until a future volume to get my aural satisfaction with this series.

Body of Review: Justin Slayer may not be a household name, even in the porn community, but you have to give the guy his props for busting his ass trying to change that fact. The guy is always working either in front or behind the camera, trying to bring his own vision of what makes for hot porn to the forefront of the Evil Angel machine. His latest release is Phatty Girls 5, the sequel to Phatty Girls 4, a series long known for gals shaking large rumps as they worked Justin and company to the bone. With no plot, no acting, and just enough tease to make most fans happy, he showcased a nice variety of hot booty here, even though anal sex wasn't on the menu. Here's a brief description of the scenes by cast and actions, noting that condoms were not a factor here:

Scene One: Diana Devoe, the long times black performer with a large rear end, started out the show dressed up in a camisole, fishnet stockings, and a tiny thong; just as she was on the upper right hand corner of the front DVD cover. Like most of Justin Slayer's preferred gals, she was large all over but not fat by any real standard. He let her give some tease footage before jumping in to take care of her himself, using a split television screen to show her in point of view fashion (POV) as well as a medium shot from the side. I could speak at length about her superior oral skills or the way she managed to milk his nuts soundly in the screwing part of the scene but suffice it to say that if you like thick black gals; you'll find her top notch in every way. I liked the split screen but also liked that Justin didn't over use it like some would be tempted to and the scene ended with a good facial.

Scene Two: CeCe, an extremely attractive black gal as seen on the upper middle of the front DVD cover, wore a blue bikini and a smile as she walked around the pool outdoors showing off her powerful body. Unlike Diana, she appeared to be muscular but thick and her ass was sweet! There was no way Justin Slayer was going to pass up this fine Nubian princess and after going inside on the couch, he got his chance to enjoy her talents. To be fair, Diana was more sexually gifted than CeCe but she could've just laid on her back and it'd have taken me all of two pumps to get off (she looked tight!). The sex was oral and vaginal with her being more playful than energetic but even though he did all the work, the scene wasn't bad. It ended with a large pop shot to her face and upper torso but I'll look for her again given that face and tight ass of hers.

Scene Three: Lori Alexia, also known as Miss Nude USA 2004, was featured on the lower left-hand corner of the front DVD cover, was not overly modest as she blathered on about being the best gymnast and feature dancer in the USA (funny, I don't recall seeing her in the Olympics…) outside by the pool. She then went inside to give a show of her moves and I'll admit she did a decent job, if not anything I'd sings praises about. I was more interested in her strong, curvy body and attractive face that the cover picture didn't do justice. The actual sex with director Justin Slayer didn't seem to last as long as most of the other scenes but she seemed to be in full control of her body and quite flexible, earning her points with me even as I detracted them for her vain attitude. It was oral and straight only but she's another gal I'd like to see more of in the future. Justin coated her face and chest with semen glazing, telling me she was as good as she looked, if not as good as she thought she was.

Scene Four: Koffee Cakes, the redheaded black gal on the middle right hand side of the front DVD cover, was up next as she teased the camera more than the others (shyly avoiding the camera at first and then showing her large ass on a bar stool). Justin Slayer was also her partner and while she had too much junk in the trunk (maybe Lori will give her lessons in keeping fit but still phat), the oiling up portion of the scene was pretty interesting. The oral was okay and the variety of vaginal positions was actually pretty solid as the two boned like there was no tomorrow. Instead of giving her a facial, he jerked out a load onto her ass and this was just an average scene in most ways.

Scene Five: Tia Sweets and Yazmene Milan, a couple of lighter skinned sweeties, were up next as they walked the street at night in tiny red & white outfits. They were on the lower right hand corner and upper left hand corner of the front DVD cover, each having some exotic racial mixture that worked for me as well as scene partners Nat Turnher and Justin Slayer. The scene itself was interesting in how the two went inside for some lesbian antics on the couch before the guys jumped in as the gals appeared to get wet over one another. It was playful, sweet, and powerful in how they did one another with oral and straight sex once again the focal point. It also ended with some facials but not as accurately launched as the prior ones.

Summary: Phatty Girls 5 had enough energy and passion to warrant a rating of Recommended or even better if you're a big fan of the cast (or big booties in general). Most of the action was tight, the cast finer than frog hair (as the saying goes), and the technical matters improved over the last time Justin offered up a volume in the series. I haven't seen all of his work but I think that fans of his style will definitely find this one to have a lot of replay value; not just because it was so lengthy but because the gals seemed to want to be doing what they did for the most part. Justin Slayer's Phatty Girls 5 was full of the kind of fuck for the buck value that fans are demanding these days and he deserves some credit for continually working on the mix to get it just right.
