Audio/Video Quality: Shades of Kink 2 was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director James Avalon for Sweet Sinner. Will Holder and James worked the cameras while Phil Silva took care of editing, Melissa Monet co-writing with the director to make for some interesting moments. The pacing of the feature elements was a bit off and the sexual trysts could have been polished up more but there was some thought put into the production on a technical level, James long held in high regard by those in the know for his quality of work. I would have appreciated more lighting in the various dungeon scenes but it was otherwise nicely handled, I understand why things were done as they were. There was no company watermark here and the visuals were quite good, the aural components on the lower volume side but the vocals were well balanced with some decent music.

Body of Review: James Avalon directs for Sweet Sinner, his skills as a director often put to the test to offer something for couples with a bit of edge but not too much of one. His latest work is called Shades of Kink 2, a follow up in theme to the multi-award nominated production from earlier in 2013 that managed to impress a fair amount of people. This time, Penny Pax stars as a popular dominatrix who takes lowly intern Logan Pierce under her wing at the bequest of her bitchy, back stabbing boss Dana DeArmond, eventually introducing him to her darker side via a BDSM club. I know Adrianna Luna was featured on the front cover and fans will appreciate that Lily LaBeau was having some fun too, but I always wonder when a company leaves the thematic stars off the cover like this. The back cover described the movie like this: “A young man is attracted to a seemingly innocent, sweet young woman, but when he discovers that she moonlights as an infamous dominatrix by night, his normal, safe, every-day sexual relationship is turned on end, leading him to make some serious adjustments in his own erotic proclivities. Starring Penny Pax as the multifaceted young Dom, with Logan Pierce, Dana DeArmond, Lily Labeau, Adrianna Luna, Steven St. Croix, and James Deen.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Dana DeArmond, the well known brunette extreme queen, was up first in her office with Mr. Pete, her usual bitchy boss role sublimated as she gave all control over to the guy. He ordered her to take off her tight dress and she did so willingly, her skimpy lingerie barely covering any of her frame as he massaged her nipples and bent her over the desk so he could gobble her gash. He was expectedly rough with her, slapping her inner thighs, and she responded well to his ministrations, the guy spitting on her neatly trimmed snatch to use his turgid pecker to pound her vaginally before he used her throat as a cock socket. They moved to the black leather couch form there, more oral and vaginal banging punctuated by the rougher acts like choking, some hand to gland friction added in with the knob slobbing to flesh out the acts leading up to his modest nut of genetic juice from landing on her crotch, leg, and torso, Dana tasting the ball batter before the scene cut away.

Scene Two: Lily LaBeau, Penny Pax, and Seth Gamble were up next at the BDSM club, some modest feature elements carried into the tryst but the scene remaining largely to establish Penny’s character (regarding her side job). There were a lot of caged women, fetish garb, and build up to the actual sex, various porners seen in the background watching the show. Penny and Lily looked hot in their outfits as they used various oral tricks on each other, some spanking and face sitting included as Seth received some head from the gals. Penny was tentatively in charge of the trio but was not above using her assets to pleasure herself, their eye contact superior and Lily showing a love of penetrative sex as he plowed her neatly trimmed snatch. Penny was a far more active rider though, pushing back to meet his thrusts, her shaven slit taking all he had before he tossed off his population pudding all over her, Lily licking up the spunk like a dutiful servant.

Scene Three: Adrianna Luna, the fetching and exotic hotty featured on the front cover, was up next to score working with Steven St. Croix at the BDSM club, more of the ancillary sexual activities by the Lockran’s, Penny, and Lily seen along the way. Steven liked Adrianna tied up and otherwise helpless to resist his charms, the man taking his time to caress her as he played with his prized possession adding to the effect. He flogged her fleshy ass and tasted it, kissing her before providing her with enough freedom to worship his turgid member. She took most of it into her mouth and kept at it from time to time, actively riding him vaginally after he fingered and munched her bald beaver. They glistened with sweat by the time he pulled out to douse her with splooge, Adrianna massaging the ball batter into her skin and tasting it before more moments of Penny and Lily were displayed.

Scene Four: Penny Pax, the smoking hot redhead starring as the lead, was up last on a bed in a white curtained area where she took Logan Pierce to further his education. She started slowly by having him kneel between her legs, her pouty eyes in stark contrast to her attitude and vocals as he had her shine her knee high boots with his tongue. The vocals were again too low for my taste but she looked like a million bucks, her perky ass beckoning Logan’s attention as she toyed with him some more leading to him going down on her at length. She gave him a decent hummer and they engaged in some vaginal fucking from there, Penny mounting him from on top to control the action as she impaled herself slowly but deliberately. This athletic riding soon caused him to launch his baby batter onto her boot, Penny tasting it as if it were her reward for a job well done.

Summary: Shades of Kink 2 by director James Avalon for Sweet Sinner had four scenes with role playing and/or BDSM themes, the object being to provide couples with something more than the vanilla titles usually catering to them. In that sense, the movie was pretty good even if the feature elements seemed to go nowhere and were too light to build up tension yet too plentiful to completely dismiss. If seeing the first volume was required to make sense of it all or develop the characters better, suffice it to say that I had watched that one and found it okay too. Penny was decent enough in her role and nobody does “sneaky bitch” better than Dana, most of the others there sexually but not given enough meat to work with to make the viewer care at all about them. Still, it had some enjoyable, even strokable, moments so I rated it as a light Recommended for those newcomers wanted to explore the fringes of the BDSM world without going crazy. In short, Shades of Kink 2 had a lot of technical care put into making it look good (the sound was just too low) and Penny Pax has already proven herself to be well suited to feature work so give this one a look with a significant other if you are considering expanding your sexual boundaries just a touch.
