Audio/Video Quality: DP Overdose 2 was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Mike John (and Tim Von Swine) for Jules Jordan Video. I have seen a number of these scenes over the years and know that the more recent scenes looked better in anamorphic widescreen as originally shot, the editing on many of them (to exercise the blowbang follow-ups or some of the introductory tease) problematic for me. Still, the lighting, the camera work, and the technical values were still better than most of their peers produce even now, the amounts of energy enhanced by the technical aspects of the movie’s eight scenes. The audio was again as basic as ever (2.0 Dolby Digital, 192 Kbps bitrate) but aside from some portions of a few scenes being too low (others distorted by being set too high), it was an okay experience aurally too.

Body of Review: Mike John and Tim Von Swine are a couple of the best POV/Gonzo directors in porn, their works distributed by Jules Jordan Video. Their latest release is an uncredited compilation (as in, nowhere does it mention that it is a compilation) called DP Overdose 2. The double disc title has a plethora of hot ladies going all out to ride cock aggressively in pussies, mouths, and assholes, each scene providing ample amounts of double penetration (DP) footage for fans that enjoy it. My biggest problem with the newly edited footage is that a lot of material was taken out, typically follow up blowbangs, some introductory material, and the like, though I am glad to report that these scenes are newer and in anamorphic widescreen unlike the last volume of the series. My favorites were Jada Stevens, Veruca James, and Penny Pax but most of the ladies were appealing in a slutty way, their sexual skills all well documented by the two directors. Here’s a very brief look at the scenes (mostly from the original versions of the scenes per the reviews) by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Crowd Control 2: Jada Stevens, Sean Michaels, Tee Reel, D. Many might argue that grabbing performances from a wider array of source material would have made more sense than grabbing three out of four scenes but the up side was that all the scenes offered at least some spank bank material no matter what your tastes. In short then, DP Overdose 2 followed the formula of compiling double penetration scenes from Mike John’s back catalog but I would have liked it better had somewhere on the cover was an acknowledgement that this was indeed a compilation instead of all new scenes so check it out.
