Audio/Video Quality: Hot Chicks Big Fangs 2 was offered up in a decent anamorphic widescreen as shot by an uncredited director for Digital Playground. There were no technical credits at all and a complete lack of BTS footage, the bulk of the material shot as if for individual scenes instead of a movie. With atmospheric lighting and a handful of special effects, it looked like a watered down version of the first volume in the series, the flesh tones accurate and the framing okay though the camera was not as smooth and the editing seemed rushed. There was no company watermark but the compression rate was low enough that there were few compression artifacts either.. The aural components varied a lot less here, the stereo separation sounding as if added in post production though the vocals were crisp and easy to make out in most cases and the music was appropriate to the theme material.

Body of Review: Digital Playground has been making feature porn for years now, many of their latest endeavors barely qualifying for the term but still offering couples friendly porn all the same, their latest fuck flick called Hot Chicks Big Fangs 2. This volume of the series served as a virtual reboot from the release two years ago, many elements truncated given the lower budgets of recent releases. Of the wildly popular and extensive cast from the first volume, only Nikki Benz returned, the gal leading a sorority of blood sucking vampire hotties who liked sex almost as much as blood. Joining her were ladies like Mia Malkova, Dillion Harper, Chanel Preston, and Riley Reid among others, the sex scenes loosely tied together via a party held to bring in some “new blood”. Summary: Hot Chicks Big Fangs 2 by Digital Playground was a lot weaker release than the first, earning a rating of Rent It for the replay value of the sexual trysts, the feature elements almost completely disposable and the flick best displayed around Halloween with ample mood enhancers. The sex was very basic with oral and vaginal acts before the men met their untimely fates, the ending orgy scene not long enough to showcase the arguably most popular performers of the cast while the other scenes often fell shorter than expected so take Hot Chicks Big Fangs 2 with the realization of modern budgets lest you expect too much. I still think it was worth a look and fans of vampire porn may well long for the days of old when better writing, better acting, and more sexual variety was included in such movies but check it out when the movie is released later this week to see what I mean.
