Audio/Video Quality: SOS: Sex On The Streets #1 was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Brother Love for Vivid. The editing chores were shared by producer Axel Braun, Claudia Ross, and Marco Salvatore but frankly, given the press release regarding how raw, unadulterated, and unscripted it was supposed to be, I’m not sure how to factor this aspect in like I would on a more conventional release. Clearly there was a lot of footage shot that did not measure up (from the low lighting portions to the parts with substantial movement, to the times when the camera was simply out of focus, all coming to mind) but the final product looked rough too, limited bursts of public nudity and sexual misconduct cut short for all the usual reasons. Still, as raw as it looked, the casting providing some opportunities for heated trysts, the four scenes providing some fuck for the buck despite the truncated running time (most modern porn lasts longer than two hours or has substantial extras to make up for it). Love is a seasoned veteran of capturing sex on the run thanks to his years of work in the industry, some of it a lot better than what is presented here but well worth a look regardless of the technical values. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital enhanced offering using a 48 kHz sampling rate and the usual 192 Kbps aural bitrate, the wind noise and other ambient sounds sometimes getting in the way of the vocals (as expected) which added to the danger factor the director was shooting for.

Body of Review: Brother Love has long been one of my favorite underdogs when it came to directing gonzo porn, his many efforts showing creativity rather than throwing money at problems he faced. While he has been working in a less obvious capacity of late, I still get word about him from time to time, especially now that he is shooting for Vivid under their agreement with Axel Braun Productions. Initially, I thought Axel was merely going to shoot parodies for the company but as luck would have it, he is spreading his wings somewhat further, one of his alternative projects called SOS: Sex On The Streets #1. The idea here is that sex in public is hotter by virtue of the danger factor, the possibility that the police catch the performers going at it or average folks walk by and catch them in the act adding something hard to pin down that makes it more exciting (if done right). In this first volume of the series, there was a fair bit to appreciate given cast members like Nicole Aniston, Brooklyn Lee, Tara Lynn Foxxx, and Jessi Palmer, but some of the “public” avenues were not as well traveled as I would have preferred. Still, with a bit of tweaking, the series certainly has potential and in the hands of Brother Love, I could see it going places if allowed room to grow. The press release described the show like this: “The series is produced by multi-award-winning director Axel Braun. "Public sex remains one of our biggest turn-ons, but it's also somewhat dangerous" Braun says. "Couples need to be pretty sneaky to indulge in consensual public sex nowadays, especially since it's against the law in most states. There's always the danger of getting caught, and this creates a heightened adrenaline rush that definitely increases the drama and heat of the movie. We think 'SOS' delivers the fantasy way beyond what most of us would actually experience."” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Tara Lynn Foxxx, the charming young lady featured on the front cover, was up first as she outlined her career path to producer Axel Braun (he was off camera). While not introducing her partner, Chris Strokes, Tara began her sexual journey by blowing him on the open road, looking up at the camera a lot and flashing it before they stopped to continue on some steps along the largely abandoned roadway. It was annoying to see the sex interrupted by some interview material but they did do some vaginal fucking until the locale was changed to being behind a building (where some passersby gawked at her oral antics). They then continued in a nearly empty parking lot, Tara trying to cover up briefly in a park wearing a blanket, then some more dangerous fucking in the open park. She was then an active rider and oralist in a tunneled walkway but went back to the car to finish up with a facial of spunk barely hidden from public view near a strip mall.

Scene Two: Brooklyn Lee, a curvy redhead that has been making a name for herself of late, was up next as she followed the formula, the interview leading to her douching on the second story of a parking garage to clean up before doing Bruce Venture. Brooklyn had a fair amount of nervous energy going for her, disrobing slowly before slobbing his knob and taking his cock in her snatch, the post production special effects (making the scene look like it was shot on film; a common technique here) occasionally distracting. This led to a beach tryst by a secluded hill, some more public locations like an overpass (one of my favorite spots from a previous movie by Daniel and friends a few years back) balanced against far more private spots like a rooftop though that nasty couch was perfectly lit by the sun. It ended when he unloaded a wad of genetic juice to her face, her semen goatee working for her but some night time antics included on a beater car producing a second round of spunk on her sweet ass too..

Scene Three: Jessi Palmer, a very cute gal with beautiful eyes, was up next as she followed the theme into some road head and a bit of vaginal boning by Alex Gonz. This scene was also interrupted at the wrong times by interview material, thankfully followed by a very public display of affection (oral and vaginal) on a walkway over the freeway. There was then some more car screwing, a sloppy creampie of population pudding, overpass sex, and an alleyway before the park where she took a mouthful of spew by a large tree and streaked briefly as a capper.

Scene Four: Nicole Aniston, an exceptionally attractive blond with nice legs and a great ass, was up last as she prepared to have some fun in a secluded rural lot by some railroad tracks. The lighting worked really well in such locations but Alex Gonz was often the only other human in sight since he was her partner. Their chemistry was decent and Daniel captured the antics very well indeed, her vaginal creampie looking quite believable. This led to some bathroom banging, Nicole pulling up her dress as she walked down a very public boulevard at dusk, a self serve car wash, and some night time car antics both in and out of the vehicle (the last portion ending with her taking the load to her ass cheek.

Summary: SOS: Sex On The Streets #1 by director Brother Love for Vivid definitely had some of the fun factor needed to make it work for me but also a cast of ladies well worth checking out so I rated it as a light Recommended for fans of the genre. The trysts were not obviously scripted and there was a lot of unpredictability to them as advertised, future volumes hopefully taking more advantage of public spots where people could get caught rather than deserted parking lots, stairwells, or hidden away in the wilderness as they were at times here. In that sense, I figured director Brother Love had a lot to do making this one as good as it was, SOS: Sex On The Streets #1 offering up a lot of potential for fans of the public sex genre. If anyone can make this series work though, it would be him so maybe I’ll get a chance to see how it evolves over time, the casting always crucial in this type of show.
