Audio/Video Quality: Beyond The Call Of Booty 4 was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen the scenes were originally shot in by director Erik Everhard for Jules Jordan Videousing the MPEG-2 codec (sporting 480 resolution). The quality of the visuals varied a bit here but Everhard focused less on the technical matters instead of maintaining the usual sexual energy and chemistry. The lighting was decent and that eliminated most of the problems associated with gonzo productions, Erik's works virtually always a few notches above the competition from what I've seen over the years. The editing could have used some polishing up but the basics were covered handily, the end result pretty close to what I expected out of the show. The bitrate was all over the charts here with much of the footage coming in around the 3.1 Mbps range but there were not a lot of compression artifacts present that I could see (there was some inherent grain at times though). The audio was offered up in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate but there was no separation noticed that I could figure out, and the dynamic range was pretty limited too; the scenes coming from quickly shot gonzo; the guerilla shooting style favored by pornographers everywhere. The limited music was okay but nothing special.

Body of Review: Erik Everhard and his works for Jules Jordan Video are well known for using the admired stud as the primary meat puppet. This is a good thing because when it comes right down to it, even those that consider men expendable in porn should realize that a weak, low end mope is a scene killer when placed with an otherwise sexy babe in need of servicing. Whatever the cause, you just don’t see Erik losing wood and his drive is that of men half his age, making him the right guy to tap the ass of Jynx Maze, Leilani Leeanne, and vaginally drill Nikki Delano, Nicole Aniston, and Giselle Leon. Some women may call Erik’s appeal “animal magnetism” as the reason why he gets such performances out of the ladies but as a guy, I just know the difference between a sad sack and someone the women want to work with, the resulting performances such that there really is no comparison. In short, Beyond The Call Of Booty 4 delivered the goods to such an extent that each scene was full of tease, replay value, strokability, and everything else you could want from a gonzo production, the technical values decent enough to convey the sense of connection between the performers if not the best Erik has had to offer in the past so give it a look.
