Audio/Video Quality: Jay’s Anal Archives 2 was presented in a fair looking 1.33:1 ratio full frame as shot by director Jay Sin for other companies to be released as a compilation now out by Evil Angel using the MPEG-2 codec for standard definition release (in 480 resolution). The bitrate was usually in the 3.3 Mbps range but the basic lighting covered the action well so there were not a lot of shadows around during the scenes. The flesh tones were too saturated at times and the composition of the shots was not always the best for the ladies but the anal tricks that so fascinated director Jay Sin were obviously the most important thing to capture for him; this being his core audience from what I've learned over the years. Still, the action was clearly recorded and the raw energy of the cast was caught as I expected; making it a decent looking fuck flick in most ways, the editing by Luigi, showing some care going into the final product. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using a 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate; the lack of separation and dynamic range meaning the audio was a bit flatter than hoped for. It was low end audio for the most part but given the gonzo niche of the movie, this is to be expected. The musical interludes were pretty decent though and added to the fun but they did not last long for those who care.

Body of Review: Jay Sin has shown in recent years that his propensity for kinky anal fun is a good fit for directing at Evil Angel. The way he embraces using toys, lesbian anal, hardcore circus act sex, and almost anything one can think of to expand the boundaries of ass worshipping weirdness has captured the attention of many ass lovers everywhere, his latest release of Jay’s Anal Archives 2 providing a compilation of scenes from his various endeavors elsewhere (ala Sinsational Pictures and/or Sineplex if I recall correctly). My biggest issue upon checking out the double disc extravaganza was that it was evident that some scenes started well into where the action had already been going on, the kind of editing alluded to in the website description presented below but nowhere to be found on the DVD case. I hate edited scenes and the other issue coming up was the lack of any outline as to where the scenes were originally taken from, collector’s everywhere always wanting to know which series, volume, and title a scene was from in my experience. I researched the scenes as best I could using the IAFD but so many of the ladies had scores of aliases and generic names that your mileage will certainly vary here. Otherwise, there was a lot of anal sex, rimming, interracial, and related material but it was not nearly as expansive as the director’s works for Evil Angel so for a look into his beginnings, here you go.

Jay's Anal Archives 2 is a 12-scene collection featuring 23 gorgeous sluts, each involved in sexual play that runs the gamut from cute tease and lesbian kissing to ass-licking and butthole toys, to hard-core multi-girl ass-to-mouth nastiness, and all the way to acts of sick, cum fart-eating raunch that will blow your mind! Okay, the editing was more apparent in some scenes than others but all the scenes included blowjobs, anal penetration, and ATM. The copious amounts of genetic juice and population present were summarily milked from balls of all sorts of men, the emphasis on interracial action a given going in. The ladies did not have a lot of chemistry with the men, at least nothing obvious, but fans of Russian and Eastern European babes willing to do it all was clear too. Rather than go into a boring breakdown of the specific order of the sexual trysts and actions, suffice it to say that if you’ve read this far, you’ll know exactly what you’re getting, my wish that each scene was properly labeled and unedited keeping the rating lower than I felt comfortable giving.

Summary: Jay’s Anal Archives 2 by director Jay Sin for Evil Angel offered up a large amount of value, strokability, and replayability but also the kind of hardcore kink factor that the director has become known for, albeit not nearly as deviant as he has become since working at Evil. The technical merits were fair in most cases, the fun factor more generic than Jay is currently known for, and the casting not exactly as inspired as he has shown of late either but still meriting a rating of Recommended given the amount of fuck for the buck. In short, Jay’s Anal Archives 2 was new to me (I did not see the first volume) and the director’s older works were not nearly as appealing as his newest stuff but check it out if you appreciate attractive ladies getting planked in the ass, the amounts of spunk sure to satisfy new fans of the director.
