Audio/Video Quality: Superheroines Roped & Ravished! was presented in a 1.33:1 ratio full frame as shot by director Natali Demore for the Bondage Orgasms website, now on this standard definition DVD. The bitrate was modest when spot checked but the lighting and camera work decent enough to capture the action, just looking at times like a home movie. Still, the cheese factor was not that bad in terms of the technical aspects, the flesh tones and grain not always perfect but capably enough handled for an older web series dedicated to BDSM action. The editing was occasionally choppy but still not as noticeable as competitors have displayed at times, some polishing needed to upgrade future efforts. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English, the 48 kHz sampling rate and 192 Kbps bitrate about standard. The vocals were on the hollow side and depending on distance to the camera, more or less easily heard but specialty bondage videos have never been at the forefront of aural quality when coming from websites.

In the spirit of such releases, I picked up Superheroines Roped & Ravished!, the three scenes representative of many others found on the website. Each scene included Natali as a scheming villain trying to capture her foe, the general thrust of the visuals relying heavily on the cast wearing a low end “Wonder Woman” costume as they were tied up, tickled, spanked, engaged in pantyhose or electrical play (as well as strap on dildo work at times). It might not compare in terms of the big companies for technical excellence but frankly, most porn lovers have shown waning interest in seeing boring contract trysts using formulaic sex and lots of visual tricks to cover up perceived flaws. Summary: Superheroines Roped & Ravished! by director Natali Demore for the Bondage Orgasms website had a lot of rough edges and some admittedly amusing acting but each of the three scenes offered some light BDSM fetish centered on the superheroine role playing it offered too, the movie a nice starter for those interested in the genre. There wasn’t much explicit sex yet the erotic nature of the lesbian power play was certainly strokable, earning a rating of at least Recommended or better depending on how much you are a fan of this kind of thing. I would have liked to see at least one more scene (the website has ample scenes like this) to flesh out the running time but in fairness, most niche fetish movies like this tend to run around an hour only so it was a bargain by comparison even if all the action wasn’t dedicated to the costumed play (the first half of the second scene for example). In short, Superheroines Roped & Ravished! had some replay value and strokability for those that want to see a logical extension of comic book super heroine fighting, Natali Demore able to invoke the spirit of such popular literary sources fairly well (maybe getting her to try a full fledged movie would be wise) so give it a look in between watching the latest Batman, Superman, or Justice League parodies.
