Audio/Video Quality: Nasty Fucking Nurses was presented in a letterboxed 1.85:1 widescreen but lacking anamorphic enhancement for some reason as shot by director Rick Davis for release by Cherry XXX. The composition of the scenes was decent enough but the lighting, while good on the surface, left something to be desired when it came to the close ups of shadowy crotches and genital areas. This caused some grain and minor video noise due to the lack of fill lighting and disturbed me more than a couple of times considering how easily it could have been fixed with a little more care. Still, he did the best he could in terms of making the cast look good (not all the men could be as muscular as Buster Good just as all the ladies couldn't be as appealing as Brooke Haven). There were no compression artifacts though to worry about. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English but aside from the complete lack of separation between the channels and the limited dynamic range, the audio levels were all over the place. Some of the scenes, or portions of scenes, were so quiet that I swore they had no sound at all until I blasted the audio as far as it would go and some were so loudly recorded that they were distorted no matter where I set the audio. Audio has long been an area in need of assistance at the company and I see that hasn't changed since I last good to listen to their otherwise pleasant porn.

Body of Review: Rick Davis has long been the head honcho director at Cherry Boxxx Pictures, using a specific formula for what most would call meat & potatoes formulaic vignette porn (well, maybe not so wordy but you get the idea). This allows him to focus on getting the right cast working with the right people (sometimes) and cut right to the chase when it comes to shooting porn. Such was the case with his latest movie, Nasty Fucking Nurses, a movie that uses the nursing theme ever so slightly in order to play on our fantasies involving those maidens who assist us when the doctor isn't around. I haven't seen a lot of work from the company in a long while, missing out on some great performances from what I've been told, though I've long held that Cherry Boxxx is more for those new to porn than jaded old porn hounds like myself. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used in the scenes:

Scene One: Cassie Young, a skinny blonde dressed in a stripper nurse outfit, acted like a bitch so ultra stud Buster Good and chubby Jay Ashley gave her something else to think about by offering up their cocks for her to suck. Obviously, Jay's was easier for her to handle but she tried her best to work on Buster's meaty member too as the guys took turns with her mouth and pussy. The scene continued to show her blow them one at a time while the other would bone her in a number of positions on the couch. Scene Four: Brooke Haven, the curvy gal on the front DVD cover, was up next in her striped uniform to take some measurements of Cheyne Collins before the doctor came into the office. I'm sure if he saw what she was measuring and how she was doing it, he'd have "cum" right away, but if you've watched her give head in the past, you'd be aware that she has great oral talents and used them here. Compared to Brooke's scene, this one was lame but I'd like to see her in a better scenario in the future to see if the problem was her or not. The scene ended as expected with the double pop to her face for those who care.

Summary: Nasty Fucking Nurses was light on the "nasty" as well as the "nurses" concept that barely scratched the surface of what could have been presented but it did have a couple of performances that were worthy of rating this one as a Rent It. The visual flaws were never all that bad and the ladies were a fairly decent selection of women with some capable studs on hand too. The audio sucked donkey balls and the extras were essentially nonexistent compared to most porn I've watched but if you're looking for scenes involving one (or more) of the cast, this one might have some added stroke or replay value that I missed. In general, I wish I could discuss the hows and whys of the company's style of shooting porn since they've changed very little in since I've watched their stuff but if they haven't changed yet, I doubt I could convince them why they should get with the times now. Still, keep an eye out for their titles in case a favorite performer has some scenes with them since they do a pretty good job at times with the basics.
