Audio/Video Quality: Maternal Instinct was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by credited director Barrett Blade for Airerose Entertainment. The second camera was manned by Eric Masterson, the editing by Sonny Malone, and Barrett handled the primary camera. As a result, the lighting was fairly consistent compared to previous company efforts and the camera work, while not exactly optimal in making the ladies look their best, was not bad, the editing paced a bit faster than I generally prefer. There was no company watermark on the screen at all times and the video bit rate was high enough to minimize most compression artifacts on my big screen television. The aural components were recorded from the built in microphone on the camera as far as I could tell, the vocals sounding hollow and somewhat distant in most cases of the four scenes. The limited musical excursions from the tease sessions did not take the slightest bit of advantage of Barrett’s musical talents that I could detect, a shame considering how generic the program ended up.

Body of Review: Barrett Blade has been performing and directing in porn for a long time now, the man originally coming in as the musician boyfriend of Devon before now ending up working for new company Airerose Entertainment. Barrett’s latest directing assignment was to shoot four experienced ladies in a show called Maternal Instinct, the ladies including Ava Addams, Anissa Kate, Jennifer Best, and Nadia Styles. As I have found three of the four ladies to be remarkably gifted in terms of how well they present themselves on camera, at least when paired up with decent talent, this title struck me as a no-brainer to continue my look into Airerose Entertainment’s releases this year, the guys a bit less seasoned in most cases but some surprises there as well. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Anissa Kate, the bodacious brunette seen in the upper right corner of the front cover, was up first wearing a crop top and daisy duke shorts as she inquired about Tyler Nixon’s homework. She was portraying his step mother and had a novel manner to inspire his French language skills; if he got words right, she would remove pieces of her clothing. Before long, her erect nipples were in his mouth and the humorous skit continued with him gobbling her gash as she spread her legs on the table. Anissa’s limited language skills played into the scenario really well and her playfulness sexually elevated the scene above the admittedly generic situation but she slobbed his knob as well as he could stand without losing it early, some active vaginal plowing of her nearly bald beaver milking his balls dry of semen when he blasted her face.

Scene Two: Ava Addams, the smoking hot babe featured on the entire left hand side of the front cover, was up next as a mother who finds Jay Smooth lounging on her couch after her kid had a party of sorts the night before. His cock was hanging out of his shorts when she was tempted to play with it a little, the gal applying some hand to gland friction as she woke him up. She asked some probative questions of a sexual nature to put him on the defensive, Ava leaning in as they kissed while her hands caressed his chest and she climbed into his lap. Ava’s dress was soon discarded and her tits came out for him to play with, the gal beaming as she drew him in to service her nipples. Ava inhaled his modest member and nuzzled his nuts before spreading so he could munch her landing strip inspired pussy. Ava was then an active vaginal rider with some intermittent oral, her sweet ass bouncing on his lap when she impaled herself soundly on his turgid pecker. He did have some issues with maintaining an erection but her work drained his dragon enough to launch his load of sperm all over her boobs as she massaged his seed into them and tasted the remains.

Scene Three: Jennifer Best, a light haired lass that was not on the front cover, was up next with no-namer Romeo Price, the generously proportioned lady showering when he peeped at her frame glistening with water and soap. She calmed him down and removed his covers, her role as step mother not dissuading him from continuing when she requested it. Scene Four: Nadia Styles, a curvy young woman back in the saddle as she returns to porn even more successfully than her first run, then finished the show up in a scene with infamous Clover. He was looking for her son who had apparently become employed, her motherly advice that he look for work garnering a pained look on his face as he waited for the guy by the pool. He smoked a cancer stick and lounged in his knee long trunks, Nadia calling him into the house when she saw he was puffing away to give the usual lecture about the ills of smoking. As a “respiratory therapist”, she asked to check his lungs, her hands roaming further than his lungs as she grabbed his chubby and started massaging it as she leaned over him. Nadia’s tight black skirt and loose white top looked especially good on her but as she cleaned his pipe orally, her attire came off as needed, his hands exploring her quite well too. Whatever Clover’s deficiencies as a human being that have come to light of late, he was up to the task of pleasuring her, his erection too big for her to throat but just right for the active vaginal penetration positions they assumed, each sporting a growing collection of body art that enthusiasts may learn to appreciate. While not always actively riding, Nadia did a good job by comparison, not getting to show her ass as I would have liked but the combination of oral and vaginal sure to inspire fans as she did for Clover, his nut landing on her lower torso courtesy of his hand at the end.

Summary: Maternal Instinct by director Barrett Blade for Airerose Entertainment provided an entertaining experience with some replay value and strokability so I rated the production as Recommended, fans of the ladies certain to consider the title a “must have” by reasonable standards. I can’t speak highly enough about the merits of Ava Addams and Nadia Styles has been working wonders on the comeback circuit, Anissa Kate always a fetching lady and Jennifer Best well worth checking out on her own merits too. In short, Maternal Instinct might not compete with the best of Barrett’s movies over the years or even try to take advantage of his innate musical abilities but he assembled an appealing selection of ladies with a crew capable to making them look good so check it out.
