Miss Strap On is actually one extra-long (1.25 hour) scene. The girls spend most of their time participating in a huge ten-girl orgy. On occasion, couples pair off for some sweet one-on-one action. And, each girl takes a break to get fucked with the dildo cam.

The beginning of the orgy revolves around Emilianna as she fucks seven girls at a time. So, instead of watching two girls go at it while the other eight continue to fuck en masse, we see a few minutes of the orgy followed by a few minutes of one-on-one sex (separate from the orgy) or some dildo-cam footage. For some reason, this disrupted my temporal sensitivities and left me feeling disoriented.

Even though there's a continuity issue, Miss Strap On is still a good watch--especially for lovers of girl/girl sex.

In particular, Codi Milo is must see...especially when she and Jenna Haze get together--repeatedly--for some super-sweet couplings. They really enjoy each others' bodies and keep coming back to each other during the scene. In one particularly stunning segment, Jenna and Codi share some oh-so-sweet 69 that leaves them both breathless. I think you'll really enjoy every second the camera is focused on Codi and Jenna--or when they're participating in the general orgy. DVD Perspectives

Video (technical): Amateurish--as compared to other movies I've reviewed recently. The crewmembers occasionally appear in the shots, the video is often over- or underexposed, and the color is frequently skewed toward an unflattering orange. Many important shots--including close-ups, especially during the dildo-cam sequences--disappear into deep shadows. In addition, the video occasionally appears soft and gauzy. I've already mentioned my issue with the discontinuity of the editing. On the positive side, the camera angles, close-ups, and dildo-cam footage are all outstanding. And, the image is clear, sharp, and free from graininess, pixelization, or any other digital artifacts. Three stars!

Audio (technical): I wasn't much impressed by the sound, either. In numerous cases, the screen is filled with one couple while the moans and groans of another couple or group are heard through the speakers. This adds to the feeling of discontinuity as the movie unfolds. Finally, the cover art indicates that there are supposed to be two audio tracks "dialogue or all sex." Nope, there's no such feature. However, the sound was well recorded and is of sufficient volume so that every delicious moan and groan is completely audible. Three stars.

Extras: The Extras are about average. There's a self-running slide show that's accompanied by upbeat music (the photos are extraordinary!), a website information page, trailers for six Smash Pictures movies, and eighteen minutes of informative behind-the-scenes footage. Three stars.

Aesthetics: The aesthetics are on par with a gonzo-type movie. Although not inspired or noteworthy, the girls' outfits are OK and their makeup is pleasing. The home used as the setting for Miss Strap On is a very nice--but too-often seen in porn movies--home that features lots of settings and props for sex (including a stripper's pole). The arsenal of toys used by the girls--from strap-ons to gorgeous glass dildos--is truly remarkable. There's an upbeat--yet non-descript--musical soundtrack that accompanies the sex. However, it is not inspired and doesn't really add much to the enjoyment of the sex. Three and one-half stars.
