Audio/Video Quality: Mike John’s Racially Motivated 3 was presented in an appealingly clear 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Mike John for Jules Jordan Video as presented in the MPEG-2 format so common to standard definition titles (with 480 resolution). The lighting was consistently solid, generally limiting the grain and other visual flaws in the open settings of the house, no scenes going far outside the box in terms of centering on dark rooms this time. There were no compression artifacts (the bitrate hovering in the 4.6 Mbps range most of the time I paid any attention to it) and the fleshtones were nearly perfect, making this one visually solid for my finicky tastes. As expected, Tim Von Swine assisted on the production and the movie was the better for it, Tim joining in to tap some black ass in a friendly fuck worth checking out. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio (in 192 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate) was a bit more basic with no separation or major dynamic range but I could always hear what was said and the music didn't interfere with my viewing pleasure.

Body of Review: Mike John is currently one of the directors distributed by Jules Jordan Video. He has long been a presence in the industry at a wide variety of companies but his POV gonzo work has always seemed to be an upgrade from many of the generic producers available, the man settling in to provide niche gonzo material these days to appreciative fans. His latest title to make it my way is called Mike John’s Racially Motivated 3, a set of five scenes that explore interracial action, not just the typical white female with black male trysts many usually associate with the term but a variety of others as well. My primary interest here was to see Katie St. Ives and Sarah Shevon doing Mr. Marcus in their respective scenes but also Chastity Lynn pouring it on with Sean Michaels. So going into the show, I figured there would be enough inspirational material here to fuel my spank bank for some time, at least until Mike and Tim come out with another of their wonderfully heated POV flicks so many people have come to appreciate. Here’s a very brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that obviously no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Sarah Shevon, an attractive newcomer making some positive waves in porn these days, was up as the opening act with studly (if not timely) Mr. Marcus. If you are one of those types set in their opinion regarding what constitutes an interracial scene you might want to pass this one up or rent it first, but in fairness, Mike is one of the few men in porn to set their own stages so give it a chance. In short then, Mike John’s Racially Motivated 3 had some of the fun factor that makes the director’s movies so appreciated, his ability to showcase sexually skilled hotties in a fuck flick enhancing the performances of his excellent casting of talented (and attractive) females.
