Extras: The only extra worth mentioning for me at least was the 7:15 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that showcased some of the ladies during their photoshoots. It was light fluff and I wanted to see more but it was decidedly better than the photogallery, cumshot recap, or website info on the disc. The true double sided DVD cover was appreciated as was the slipcover but they hardly make up solid extras.

Audio/Video Quality: Hot Sauce 6 was presented in a very appealing 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Sid Knox for Diabolic Digital using the MPEG-2 codec for the standard definition release. The lighting was not always optimal but it generally limited the grain, video noise, and shadows other productions seem unable to get rid of far too often; the crotches again not as consistently well lit as they should have been. The composition of the shots weren't always completely flattering to the ladies but at least there was rarely any doubt about what was going on and where it was going; given the quality of the cast, this made it more enjoyable too. The fleshtones were generally accurate and the bitrate hovered in the low 4 Mbps area so it did not look bad at all. There were no compression artifacts and the visuals were generally handled pretty well here. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps bitrate. The music was generic but the vocals; while plain as could be, could be heard in almost all cases; only slightly hollow at times when the ladies were making it clear their limits were being pushed.

Body of Review: Sid Knox has been making some decent porn during his stay at Diabolic Digital recently, his style slowly evolving as he picks up some lighting and camera positioning techniques. As his technical prowess grows, I have also found his ability to bring out the best in his performers to expand as well, though he still has a way to go in selecting performers with chemistry together. That said, his latest title to make it my way is Hot Sauce 6, a selection of six gonzo scenes using attractive Latina women as the focal point. I haven't seen any of the past volumes in the series but according to my associates, at least a few of them were truly top notch. My primary interest in the cast was for Luscious Lopez and Mikayla but all of the ladies were attractive and filled a wide range of appeal due to their curvy bodies. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Luscious Lopez, a curvy Latina with a great big butt, was up first in the living room as she teased the camera using her ample assets. Her light yellow outfit did little to contain her figure and she began to warm up at the director's request, soon to be joined by the mighty Evan Stone; certainly a rarity in gonzo given his huge volume of feature and vignette performances. Summary: Hot Sauce 6 by director Sid Knox for Diabolic Digital started out on a positive note and some of the scenes were very well done on both a technical level as well as showing some sparks between the cast but the overall impression I got was inconsistent, lowering the score down to a still-decent Recommended but not as high as projected going into the flick. If you like Latinas and want to see a movie dedicated to them though, Hot Sauce 6 was still worthy of your time, money, and seed due to the replayability, stroke value, and amount of fuck for the buck.
