Extras: The best extra was the 33:22 minutes of interviews with the ladies by Craig Daze, each giving their own take on life for fans as Craig interviewed them (interesting note, after watching the movie on my regular player, my computer seemed to hate playing this feature and froze twice on Mika Tan's interview for some reason). There was also a photogallery, some trailers, a slipcase, and some inevitable spam but the interviews really added the most value by far.

Audio/Video Quality: Seasoned Players 9 was presented in a 1.78:1 letterboxed widescreen offering as shot by director Tom Byron for Tom Byron Pictures in the MPEG-2 codec using a 480 resolution. The camera work mixed it up this time with a bit of tease footage taken inside the house, including some quality time of the ladies in skimpy outfits or naked, but much of it out by Tom's pool where the lighting was better too. The video maintained a bitrate of mid 4.8 Mbps most of the time, reducing the obvious compression artifacts to almost none and each scene provided solid fleshtones that appeared to be accurate as Craig Daze and Tom worked the cameras. The composition of the scenes was consistent too with the picture not always optimal (looking better this time though) but as far as Tom's work is concerned, it was shot with the ladies in mind; making the gals look their best for the most part or at least as much as the point of view style he employed could make them. The editing was generally decent, showing the same level of skill as the last time I checked out one of his movies for review, albeit I wished some additional tease footage was left in the scenes or provided in the extras section of the DVD. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English offering at 192 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate. There was no noticeable separation between the tracks and the dynamic range was limited but I could hear the ladies and the music was not a factor so I would say it was about average in most respects. On a side note, when I went to get screen captures, my computer had significant issues playing the entire disc, forcing me to restart my computer at least twice so I decided it wasn't worth the effort to provide pictures this once.

Body of Review: Tom Byron has been around the block for a very long time, starting his career as a performer and eventually working his way into the director chair before owning Tom Byron Pictures where he is the big kahuna. For those that know Tom or have watched a lot of his work, he enjoys a couple of things more than anything else, experienced women (MILFs) and rimming (both receiving and giving) so his latest title hitting the market, Seasoned Players 9 was the best of both worlds for him. The shows starred the comeback of squirt queen, anal loving Chloe, the rest of the cast relatively unknown to most people except ever talented Mika Tan. The rest of the ladies were all in their late 30's and early 40's so those of you into older broads will have plenty to stroke off to. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Brandi Love, a curvy blond with a need for seed, was up first as she followed the formula to tease during he montage and then engage in a short interview with Tom Byron. She seemed to appreciate the idea that she was not disposable since she wasn't a teenager and Tom was more than happy to provide her with evidence that a lot of guys like experienced ladies. They kissed and he felt her up, Tom eating her out front and back before she reciprocated fairly well. She did some taste testing along the way but she really seemed to want Tom's cock inside her pussy so she jumped his bone when able to. It was not the most active ride of the show but her itch was scratched and she swallowed his wad of genetic juice down with ease, smiling at a job well done.

Scene Two: Mika Tan, a sexy Asian that I would have never thought belonged in a movie such as this (at least not for another ten years or so), was up next to follow the formula and give Tom Byron a run for his money. She took a short break from porn back came back refreshed, her curvy figure showing she had not lost a beat when it came to screwing on camera. Both of them engaged in oral action and she even tossed his salad willingly (without a gun to her head), his own love of giving rimjobs satiating her love of a tongue in her ass. Mika was an active rider here and one of the best the movie had to offer in terms of overall performance, even the way in which she greedily licked up his load of population pudding showing she wanted him more than ever. Yum!

Scene Three: Monique Fuentes, a lean gal that did not look like a Latina to me, was up next with Tom Byron, the gal showing him that she wanted to work more. The tease was mediocre and her oral seemed lackadaisical, Tom going down on her from foot to asshole, the gal among the few not reciprocating on the backdoor loving. She was a modest rider here, Tom coming on stronger than I felt she enjoyed, the end result of the oral and vaginal sex being the scene was a filler until a better one came along, the pair closing out with a facial she did not help unleash.

Scene Four: Shelia Marie, a thick redhead that looked younger than her stated age, was up next as she fulfilled her part of the deal with Tom Byron. The tease was decent and her interview short, the gal speaking with an accent as she readied herself to do the guy. There was a blowjob, some titty fucking, and I got the impression that Tom smelled something down on her so he avoided her clam for the most part, drilling her pussy as though he was going to take it out on her hide that he couldn't eat her ass like he wanted to. She took the facial well enough but it was another middle of the road effort as far as I was concerned.

Scene Five: Chloe, perhaps the undisputed "squirt" and anal queen of the late 1990's to the early 2000's, was up next with the box cover featuring her in several pictures (including one where she looks like she's channeling a sprit or something). While I've never found her physically attractive outside of a very few times (like when she was under contract for VCA), she was long known for the way in which she unabashedly threw herself into the scenes she was in, making her a perfect choice to work with Tom Byron. Once the generic footage was over, they went down on each other, Chloe not shying away from his asshole with her tongue, then slobbing his knob with an aggressive style that worked well for me too. They actively screwed and it was the best scene in terms of the pair going at one another out of the whole movie, Chloe even wanting him to rough her up (and yes, he complied). She slowed down considerably for the anal action at first but picked up the pace and ended up with Tom beating off to her face.

Summary: Seasoned Players 9 by director Tom Byron for Tom Byron Pictures surprised me a little bit with the strength of some of the third tier performers coming through, Chloe and Mika Tan clearly displaying their performing chops as always to really set the pace for the rest of the mediocre cast so I rated it as a Rent It. The BTS set of interviews was a lot of fun and I found the replay value of the five scenes such that I came close to considering a slightly higher rating so adjust it as you see fit based on your personal devotion to the ladies this time. In short, Seasoned Players 9 had a complete set of seasoned MILFs that responded well to Tom's oral and penetrative exploits, Chloe's raspy voice and over the top screaming just as irritating these days as ever but the total package should be considered sealed with a squeal of approval according to my assistant watching it with me, her newfound appreciation of Mika Tan such that she wants a meet & greet based on this one scene of hers alone even if the technical issues bothered her as well.
