The Movie:

Tattoo Angels, from Anarchy Films, is a typical gonzo fuck film that only distinguishes itself by focusing on the collective ink appearing on the flesh of its female cast. Here's a peek:

Chapter 1 - Michelle Aston and Sledge Hammer: Cover girl Michelle Aston starts the disc off right with this scene where she enters the frame wearing a red corset. She gives Sledge a solid blowjob before she gets on her back and he fucks her ample bosom. She strips down and he eats her pussy for a bit, then he puts a strap-on on his face and she mounts it. This film would have been no different if the four female performers featured here had not ink at all. As such, it's a fairly average effort. It's not terrible, but it's not great either.

The DVD

Video:

This 1.33.1 transfer looks like it was shot on video and sadly, a couple of brief parts of it aren't lit so well. While the clarity is ok when the lights are up (which is thankfully most of the time), there are some scenes where once the penetration starts things get shadowed and the lighting doesn't compensate for it, making things a little tricky to make out. Other than that, this looks okay. Aside from that, this is an average looking disc, not much better or worse than the thousands of other titles out there on the market.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 was shot in English and that's how it hits DVD. The dialogue that opens each of the five scenes is pretty clear, and there aren't any problems with hiss or distortion. Once the fucking starts there isn't much said but the few times that dialogue is exchanged there weren't any problems understanding what was said.

Extras:

Aside from chapter selection and a weblink, the only other extras on this disc are a handful of trailers for other completely unrelated Anarchy Films DVD releases.

Final Thoughts:

Tattoo Angels isn't a great film but it's got some strokeworthy scenes in it and a fair female cast. Tattoo enthusiasts can do much better but anyone looking for a solid gonzo effort should at least find a bit to appreciate here. Rent it.
