The second disc started with a 3:32 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that began with nobody knowing the title of the project and progressed to showing some sexual clips. There was then a photogallery, some trailers, and the company contact screen but that was all.

Audio/Video Quality: Wingmen was presented in anamorphic widescreen as credited to new director Billy Visual for Digital Playground. The modest writing was from Devon Cypher and the camera operators were “Billy Da Kid” and “Sir Richard Manwin III”, the art direction again upgraded by using the dynamic duo of Kylie Ireland & Andy Appleton, Seth Cardigan handling aural chores and a quartet of editors including Nick P., Evul Atheng, PJ Bronson and Keethan Hawke. The flesh tones were accurate, the camera framing solid, the editing was smooth and there was a nice mix of camera angles and contextual shots. The sets looked good and the modest feature elements were decently handled. The 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround appeared to be added in post production rather than natively shot but the vocals were clear and mixed with the music well.

Body of Review: Billy Visual is the latest director at Digital Playground, his first credited project as more than just a youthful camera operator being Wingmen, a series that came out in late summer. The premise was light, detailing the exploits of an actor (Xander Corvus) that wanted to parlay his success as an action star into doing a pet project (sound familiar yet?), the man and his entourage of friends coping with the usual assholes in the entertainment industry to get what they want. If you like deep features or kinky sex this one won’t be for you as it was more of a couple friendly project tied to a serial format but I liked it and with ladies such as Chanel Preston, Carmen Caliente, Mia Malkova, and others on hand to inspire your hand to gland exploits at home, you could do far worse. The back cover described the series like this: “Rising star, Xander Corvus and his buddies’ are living it up in Hollywood! His acting career is booming and he’s taking his friends along for the ride. Having caught the eye of hotties like a movie executive’s daughter, Mia Malkova and porn star, Chanel Preston, he’s getting laid in every direction. His brother, Ike Diezel, on the other hand is struggling as a B-List actor. Longtime friend and manager, Bill Bailey, attempts to manage Xander’s career but pussy keeps getting in the way and his other friend, Dane Cross, is happy to just tag along for the wild ride. Xander’s latest movie obsession is with an El Campo script and if he doesn’t get it, he’s threatening to quit the industry. His friends and agent, Keiran Lee, are going to have to rally together and help Xander get this movie or else their lifestyle and careers are at risk!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

It would compete with the company’s biggest projects or their most intense casts but Wingmen had entertainment value beyond just stringing 8.5 sex scenes together (in scene 3, there was a blowjob-only mixed in with the actual scene of the episode), all the ladies fitting their roles as young, vibrant cuties with lean bodies in need of regular sex so give it a look if this kind of thing suits you as much as it worked for me.
