Extras: For most folks, the two bonus scenes will prove to be the best extras, each version of the movie including the same amount (Blu-ray in high definition) for those of us complaining about SD titles getting more. I actually prefer extras unique to the movie itself though so the 6:41 minute long Behind the Scenes feature was more interesting. Meggan was clearly the most important thing to cameraman Shylar Cobi (for good reason) but it also showed the cast & crew working to make a better product. It was a solid mix of material so I enjoyed it even if it was shorter than usual. There was then a biography for Houstonian Meggan Mallone, some trailers, spam, and a photogallery (the Blu-ray dropping the minimalist stuff though).

Audio/Video Quality: Suck It was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color it was shot in by director B. Skow for Vivid Entertainment using the standard definition MPEG-2 codec in 480p resolution for the SD version and the 1080i/VC-1 codec for the superior looking Blu-ray version. For those unfamiliar with his background, suffice it to say that his experience outside of porn is superior to many inside the industry and it shows up in his movies, including this one as it was shot in 1080i high definition, making the Blu-ray version of it look much better. The editing was a bit smoother this time and whatever minor issues popped up were dealt with on the fly, R. Rolande credited with editing and Justin Silverlake with handling post production chores but the Skow touch was evident throughout the flick. The composition of the camera angles was almost always optimal this time, Skow seeing fit to try and enhance the look of the ladies at every turn as possible using multiple cameras to capture more action this time (thankfully) with some help by Shylar (who also handled the BTS) and crew. The fleshtones were generally accurate though but the DVD mastering was well done (if only in a bitrate hovering around 4.2 Mbps in SD and 12.1 Mbps in the high definition Blu-ray), making it a mixed bag in terms of visual quality; leaning towards above average (if on the low side for Skow himself). There was a company watermark that I wasn't too keen on but most of the camera work seemed to keep this in mind, keeping the majority of action far away from the lower right hand corner. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English (in 192 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate) offering with the vocals sounding flat and the music pretty decent. For some reason, the levels were about the same as usual but aside from the added background noise, the dynamic range was average and the separation of the vocal track nonexistent. For an all sex feature though, it was a sufficient soundtrack with minimalist leanings most of you will appreciate over loud generic music found elsewhere.

Skow was once considered the "new guy on the block" at Vivid Entertainment but over time, his mainstream skills and determination won over critics and fans alike, even those at the company who were skeptical seeing the light thanks in part to the success of his Brand New Faces series. As the director branches out into other genres of porn, some of the contract gals have been benefitting from his keen eye and devotion to offering quality stroke material rather than the artistic leaning porn his peers seem so determined to cling on to. His latest release making it my way is Suck It, both versions of the movie seeming to provide fans with exactly what they want, the showcase hotty of the movie being Houstonian Meggan Mallone. In terms of the high definition upgrade, the visual enhancement certainly added to the experience for me, the added cost balanced against the superior resolution for those equipped to handle it.
