There is some mild shimmer in a couple of spots but no noticeable mpeg compression evident anywhere. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on (the camera work is very good here), and overall the movie looks great showing very nice detail and color.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue, of which there is generally only a little bit during the sex scenes during the foreplay – there’s too much kissing for there to be talk! -comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. The background music is fine, levels are nicely balanced, everything sounds clean and clear and all in all the disc sounds very good.

Extras:

The main extras come in the form of four solo scenes – each one feature a lead actress: Angela Sommers, Dani Daniels, Natalia Starr and Vanessa Veracruz. Angela uses a dildo on herself, Dani keeps it au natural and uses only her fingers, Natalia does a lengthy strip tease before slipping two digits up her pussy and Vanessa keeps it fingers only as well but does some nice dirty talk here. Combined, these solo scenes clock in at about forty minutes so there’s some decent lengthy sessions here to enjoy.

Me And My Girlfriend Episode Four doesn’t deviate from the established formula that Girlfriends Films has used so well up to this point in their history and will likely to continue to effectively exploit so long as we pay attention. If that sounds like criticism, it is and it isn’t. There’s nothing here that we haven’t seen before, but what the disc delivers is of very nice quality. If it’s not a particularly original release, if offers up ninety minutes or so of genuinely erotic and nicely shot lesbian porn with good production values and a cast that is as enthusiastic as they are beautiful. So for those reasons, the disc comes recommended – just don’t expect this to change your opinion on the studio’s output if you’re not already a fan.
