Extras: Past experience has taught me that releases by Club Jenna are not very interesting with regard to their extras so I wasn't expecting a whole lot this time. Thankfully, Jay and Jenna took a different approach this time and provided a wealth of value-adding extras. Personally, I enjoyed the audio commentary between McKenzie Lee and Producer Jim Enright the most as it added some interesting tidbits to the show for me (recorded on 3/17/2006; St. Patrick's Day!). I know it's rare that you find a reviewer willing to take the time to listen to one all the way through but even as I type this up, I'm almost done listening to it (as producer Jenna Jameson would expect of me). I also enjoyed the nearly twelve minutes of masturbation/slight lesbian action in a section called Masturbations, led by Ms. Lee as she diddled herself then had some assistance. The 10 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Dic Tracy, one of the nicer guys behind the scenes was cool with most of the cast and crew getting some screen time. Another interesting feature (particularly if you want to see really cool fans in the background who showed up on the last day of the practically deserted 2006 AEE Show…cough) was '06 A.E.E. Reel, a montage of clips from the show as well as background shots of the Club Jenna gals all looking hot. I'd like to see more of this kind of thing, without me in them though, as they provide a sense of the true buzz fans have for the stars over what you'll read from guys like me (I'd rather you see it firsthand). Audio/Video Quality: McKenzie Made was presented in a non-anamorphic widescreen, letterboxed 1.85:1 color, as shot by director Red Ezra for Club Jenna. Red has long been one of the more skilled guys in porn direction, attempting to craft his movies in a variety of ways in order to provide some visual diversity. The scenes didn't always work for me but at least they weren't done in cookie cutter fashion as most of Red's peers seem too willing to do. The stylish lighting kept the grain and video noise to a minimum, with appealing editing adding some flavor to the production. The composition of the shots was almost always enhancing to the ladies, though I tend to prefer less style most of the time. There were no compression artifacts observed on the DVD and the overall visual look of the show was very well done. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English. The vocals were sublimated to the wide variety of music, not my favorite approach, but the thump heavy material was toned down over some of the past efforts by the company and this added a measure of enjoyment for me. While there was no noticeable separation between the channels in the vocals, the music did seem to be in true stereo and while I'd have appreciated a vocal heavy mix selection, it was definitely a step in the right direction.

Body of Review: Red Ezra has long been a director that I've found to have a sense of style well worth checking out, particularly on his feature porn movies. He's bounced around a bit in recent years as he sought to find a home to work under but as much as I think he does great work, he still seems to be without a contract. That said, his latest movie is McKenzie Made for Club Jenna, a series of stylish vignettes starring English contract hotty McKenzie Lee. The back cover said: "Award-winning director Red Ezra presents AVN's Best New Starlet, McKenzie Lee in her first film as a Club Jenna contract girl and this British sensation is not to be taken lightly. Ride along with her as she seduced Reno in the back of a semi, then lures Nick Manning and Katie Morgan into the stickest threesome ever captured on film. Passions ignite in a garage full of sports cars as Barrett Blade teaches the alluring Kristen Price to drive his stick. While naughty girl Jezebelle Bond beak out of her skates as Justin Syder gives her the rollerfucker of a lifetime. With sets and shots as beautiful as the girls themselves, this is one sexual journey you won't soon forget! Is your sex drive ready?" In all, I had a lot of fun with the show and here's a quick breakdown of the action by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used:

Scene One: McKenzie Lee, the attractive brunette lead of the movie as seen on the front DVD cover, was up first in a scene in the back of a large moving van with Reno. While McKenzie hasn't made a lot of porn by modern standards, she has established herself as a very proficient oralist. Such was the case here as she gave Reno a sloppy bit of head with lots of saliva. She would've fit right in on a stage of a strip club. The oral was great and this led to a decent bit of vaginal screwing too as she actively rode him. As long as she was on top, she was a great ride although it lessened when he was in a dominant position. Even worse was the anal where as lovely as she looks, the limited footage and her pained look on the face said too much to a critical viewer like me. She did some ATM to close it out with the facial but it was best during the first two thirds of the scene.

Scene Two: Jezebelle Bond, a brunette with an appealing body and face combination, was up next in her own tribute to the rollergirl character from Boogie Nights as she diddled herself with a cool glass dildo in her skimpy pink bikini. She bladed into the living room and fell into the lap of Justin Syder, a decidedly scary looking character, and was soon sucking his average sized cock on the leather couch. She's one of those gals that is getting better with each scene for me as she learns the power of her sexuality (looks alone aren't enough for many of us fans these days) and her oral was pleasing, if not balls out like the other two gals before her. Scene Four: McKenzie Lee, dressed up in more classy lingerie, was up next in a short solo scene on a couch. The fingering was good, the editing helped convey extra heat, and the glass dildo (actually, it looked like an anal plug to me) was one that would look right at home in any collection. It could've been a longer scene but it served nicely as a tease if nothing else.

Scene Five: Sandra Shine, a tall brunette that looked right at home with this talented bunch of attractive ladies, was up next with McKenzie Lee, in a weird lesbian scene that seemed to take place in the back room of a strip club, complete with pink neon stripper over the couch. They wore flimsy outfits and the slow kissing and rubbing they did was a nice prelude to the sucking & licking the two did before the toy play. The lighting was interesting and added a visual appeal (a little of it goes a long way though) as they two enjoyed one another throughout the scene.

Scene Six: Charmane Star, a cute Asian hotty dressed up in a light green vinyl nurse's outfit, attended to autistic Kris Slater as a home care professional. His role was to act like he was completely out of touch and he did a fine job but the strength of her tease act woke him up in no time. I'm not a huge fan of hers but even I can't deny the skill she applies to her scenes and she was looking especially good this time. The oral on the wheelchair was another excellent example of a slow, sultry BJ and she was a decent ride even though the limitations of the setting prevented her from giving it her all in each position. The facial was solid and her appeal was undeniable too.

Scene Seven: Katie Morgan, playing a dark cloaked hotty in black & red lingerie, was up last as she teased the camera using some of her best moves before taking on McKenzie Lee and Nick Manning. The gals went for each other, sucking face to the point that their lipstick smeared all over the place, with Nick jumping in to get a taste of pussy too. He was wearing his short hair and the anecdotes about how much Nick liked his own looks were funny on the commentary track, but as this week's spotlight performer in the Blue Room Column, I want to be nice to the guy. The gals were all over him orally and the vaginal action was sweet too but the scene was shorter than it could've been thanks in large part to Nick being overwhelmed by the quality of the ladies in the scene. It was interesting to me that he wasn't in his typical Nick Manning mode (dirty talk, grunting, and virtual turrets syndrome act) and the scene came off as one of the best of the show, even though some of you will hate that he came on McKenzie's abdomen.

Summary: McKenzie Made had a terrific cast of ladies, solid production values, far better extras than I anticipated, and a lot of heat in the seven scenes. I would've liked it to last another thirty minutes but there was some solid replay value this time and the overall effort was one I can easily rate as Recommended. McKenzie Lee seems to have a natural sense of sexuality that could really live up to her 2006 Best New Starlet Award from AVN, especially given that Club Jenna seems capable of marketing her prowess. I hope to see more of her work in the future to see if she truly has what it takes outside of the glossy post production work of skilled talents like Red Ezra and Jim Enright but this is her best work to date given what I've seen.
