Extra's: The best extra was the 15:02 minute long Behind the Scenes that was shot by Marco & Lisa DeMarco, Marco's assistant in previous efforts according to an email I received about the last movie of his I reviewed. It consisted largely of the photoshoots but also had some funny moments where the cast and crew were making humorous comments. There was also a photogallery, a fetish menu, trailers to shows like Climaxxx TV, Black Reign, Lex Steele XXX, Silverback Attack, Ironhead, Manhammer, Top Guns, Superwhores, and Nasty Universe, and a second side to the DVD cover full of other covers.

Audio/Video Quality: The Dark Side of Marco Banderas 2 was presented in a 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Marco Banderas/Duato for Mercenary Pictures. The lighting was decent, eliminating the grain and video noise of some of the older works from the company. The composition of the shots was decent and tended to enhance the look of the ladies most of the time; the woman working the camera most of the time was properly credited as Lisa DeMarco. There were a few bits here and there that needed polishing up but it was well done overall. There were no compression artifacts and any edge enhancement wasn't noticed when I watched the flick; probably thanks in part to the bitrate hovering around the 5 Mbps range. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English (using a 192 Kbps bitrate) with no separation between the channels and kind of limited music added in after the fact. The vocals were also a bit unbalanced as there were times when you couldn't hear them well at all and other times when they were as plain as day but as an early effort by the performer turned director (who was also working as a performer in the scenes), it wasn't as bad as some have claimed.

Body of Review: Marco Banderas/Duato has become one of the most prolific meat puppets in porn in recent times, his manly looks and muscular body unhindered by the usual ego some of his peers in the industry seem to develop. Of late, he has also been working as a director to expand his career, doing a fine job with his work at Mercenary Pictures. Well, recently, I received a few of his back catalog titles that were never sent when the movies were released so today I bring you a look at his movie The Dark Side of Marco Banderas 2, a set of five scenes where Marco and his associates bone some of the curviest gals in porn you'd want to be with. The basic scenario was to have the ladies tease the camera before doing oral and vaginal sex, otherwise offering a limited amount of POV footage at times to augment the main camera. Scene One: Daisy Marie, a cute Latina wearing a red and black fetish outfit on her lithe young body, was up first as she rubbed herself and teased the camera on the back porch near the pool. I'm not a big fan of the glub glub noises she made while swallowing his sword, but it was otherwise a fine opening to the movie that had him bending her over to begin pounding vaginally in a variety of positions soon after. She was largely passive in most of those positions though, at least until she was on top of him where she impaled herself hard on his cock, using dirty talk to enhance the moment (the humor being how she kept breaking wind). It ended with a facial that she knelt happily for, his wad of population pudding gracing her face and mouth before the post coital sucking finished the scene up.

Scene Two: Jenaveve Jolie, the attractive Latina with the kicking ass as seen on the left hand side of the front cover, was up next in a scene with both Reno and Marco Banderas/Duato inside the large house as she pranced about in sexy white lingerie on the staircase. The effect her beautiful ass had on me was immediate and the light jazz score wasn't bad either as she slowly stripped in a seductive manner. This initially led her to the comfy chair where a half naked Marco was waiting for her, the gal aggressively pulling down his pants to actively suck him off. The POV footage looked best here but it was soon interrupted by Reno walking over with a woody in need of suction too; Jenaveve alternating between them with her hands and mouth to dramatic effect. The power sucking she gave was splendid enough but they started taking turns screwing her pussy; Marco dropping an early load on her ass cheek before going back for another round. I liked the passionate way she took them on and with all the positions nicely covered, they ended it with two more loads; this time to her face. She never let up the entire scene, making it stand out as a chemistry filled, passionate bout of boning. Whew!

Scene Three: Havana Ginger, the gal on the right side of the front cover with the huge areolas, was up next with Marco Banderas/Duato after she gyrated on the shaded porch with her amply curved body to the thumping beat. I would have preferred she stay inside to do all of this but I doubt the neighbors would share my sentiment given how loudly she attacked him, the penetrative sex slowing things down until she climbed on top of his lap to actively hammer herself on his rod. The use of Spanish by the gal seemed to impress Marco as much as me, the intonation making it obvious that she was getting into the action and not just acting in an over the top manner. It wasn't a consistently heated ride but fun enough that I will watch it again; the ending facial showing she was not afraid of his seed.

Scene Four: Eva Angelina, a gal with Jenaveve's sultry appeal but an academic look enhanced by her glasses, was up next as she shot some pool in front of Jay Huntington and Marco Banderas/Duato. She's been around awhile so it should not surprise anyone that she took them on with practiced ease but her ability to make the scene something more with her playful demeanor and aggressive style also tossed fuel onto the fire. Surprisingly though, she was relatively passive during the penetrative sex as she would blow one while the other drilled her. Marco let out another early load but kept going as though in the running for a real life energizer bunny commercial, Eva coming to life when allowed to get on top near the end of the scene. The screwing continued and the men proved to be lousy aims as they rubbed out their wads to her face, closing out a heated but mixed scene for me where she gave up some post coital sucking to make amends.

Scene Five: Carly Parker, a light haired gal with a busty figure, was up last as she took on both Lexington Steele and Marco Banderas/Duato in the house. Of all the gals in the cast, she fit in the least as she lacked the curves and sultry looks of the others but diversity is not a bad thing and even her implants were not bad to look at. The men jumped all over her as she talked the talk and walked the walk; using her hand more than her mouth on Lex's massive member. Marco got some too of course but she seemed fixated on the man of steele as the penultimate version of manhood; the gal doing her best to work them both as evenly as possible. Initially, I was not in the mood for the gal after the others had me looking for the darker meat but she did a decent job here of riding the men and getting them off; keeping eye contact with them as she did so very well on their rods, the taste testing and facials ending the scene and movie on a pretty reasonable note. In all then, she fought an uphill battle to keep my interest and did so sufficiently well to generate some interest by the time it was over (increasing replay value).

Summary: The Dark Side of Marco Banderas 2 by director Marco Banderas/Duato for Mercenary Pictures had enough fuck for the buck, strokability, ad replay value to merit a rating of Recommended from me. Some of the scenes were blazing hot while others were merely good, each having a share of minor quirks that fans of the cast may accept as natural given the variety of men joining the director in the scenes. In all then, The Dark Side of Marco Banderas 2 had a lot to like in terms of the heated chemistry that routinely appeared, marking this as a solid entry on Marco's resume. My biggest complaint about the movie was the advertised appearance of Aurora "Nicara" Jolie (a newcomer anal princess) on both sides of the cover but no such scene taking place in the movie, making me wonder if she was scheduled when the cover was designed but never showed up since the company isn't prone to false advertising.
