Extras: The best extra was the inclusion of the high definition Blu-ray disc for the movie, those of us equipped to watch such versions finding them superior in just about every way. There was then a depressingly short, 1:42 minute long Behind the Scenes feature, the gals interviewed with some clip montages included to showcase their assets, particularly during the photo shoots. For the record, this was not one of the fun filled BTS’ like DP is known for so much as a straightforward BTS like you find everywhere else. There was also a photogallery and some trailers.

Audio/Video Quality: No Way Out was presented in a clear anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Francois Clousot for Digital Playground. The entire movie had a late night cable television look to it, the resolution reduced so it didn’t look like it was shot on video, the lighting varied depending on the feature elements rather than provide porn’s common warehouse lighting, and a host of other minor touches catering to the feature aspects of the show. The cameras were worked by Francois, Sir Manwin the 3rd, Billy Da Kid, and Alex Tea while the usual crew assisted. There was no company watermark onscreen at all times and the flesh tones were accurate, the editing handled better than expected though not credited. The 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English was similar to previous exploits by the crew, most of it cobbled together in post production by talented Joey Pulgadas. Seth Cardigan and Frank Armitage were in charge of sound and while it was pretty minimalist, the score and vocals were balanced better than average compared to features coming out of the company, the flat level of vocals not exactly impressive (when all vocals sound the same no matter where a character is or the situation they are in, it lacks context) but at least some effort was made to take the stereo effect and run with it (though nothing close to the surround added in post production). The high definition version of the movie looked better and sounded about the same, worth checking out if you have the right equipment but not enough to go and get a new set up if you don’t; this perhaps the last company release with both versions of a movie outside of special events from what I’ve been told.

Body of Review: Francois Clousot is often considered one of the most technically skilled of modern day porn directors, his ability to capture both heated sexual trysts and feature elements well noted over the years. While best known for his extensive body of work at Wicked Pictures (both as lead director as well as frequent director of photography) he has also worked jobs for a number of other companies such as Digital Playground. His latest feature is called No Way Out, a story reminiscent of La Femme Nikita as well as several dozen low grade action flicks, upgraded by the participation of lovely blond babe Ash Hollywood. Whatever your belief in the porn industry making tribute movies that borrow so heavily from mainstream sources, there was a lot to like with this shoestring budget feature, the sex not as heated as most gonzo titles but the feature elements showing Francois has other options should the industry keep plunging due to piracy and companies that support tube websites. Joining Ash were Madison Ivy, Violet Monroe, and Monique Alexander, the men including studly Erik Everhard, Steven St. Croix, and Keiran Lee for those interested.

The back cover described the movie like this: “Just moments ago, Ash Hollywood was engaged in rough, passionate sex with her boyfriend and now caught in the middle of a shoot out; her boyfriend is lying dead on the ground. Afraid with nowhere to run, Ash Hollywood is captured and awakes the next day in a mysterious cell. Unknowingly to Ash, Eric has recruited her to a special agency's headquarters, to train in the art of assassination. Her training is divided between steamy lessons with the sexy Madison Ivy in martial arts and the beautiful Monique Alexander in manipulation and seduction. Upon completion of the program, Ash leaves with a new identity, Tia Snow. In addition to her assignments, she finds love with Luc, a local civilian and is forced to hide her true profession. Just as life seems stable news of treason within the agency hits, leaving Eric dead. Now it's up to Tia to seek vengeance while protecting the only person she loves, Luc.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Ash Hollywood, looking a bit ragged in street clothing at night by a loading dock, was up first kissing and slobbing the knob of Cody Sky. They were in “Turkmenistan” of all places, a bedroom bout of boning showing them all over each other caressing and kissing before she spread her legs while bending over to give him great access to rim and eat her rug. The lighting was uneven and while there was some modest levels of chemistry, the actions were very basic, perhaps a lot might consider this scene to have missed a lot of opportunities to truly shine.

Scene Four: Madison Ivy, all dressed in a sexy black outfit that fit like a second skin, was then up in the office at night with master spy Steven St. Croix. She sought to engage him sexually as she sat at the desk, their kissing and groping soon getting heated as they made it something of a grudge fuck. He bent her over the desk and orally pleasured her as she spread her legs impossibly far apart, Madison alternating with him in providing some head of a heated nature. Steven pulled down her outfit to pound her pussy balls deep and she moaned like she was on fire, her bald beaver readily taking him inside with breaks for oral included as the flexible lady accommodated his needs. The act ended when he pulled out of her to toss out a huge wad of sperm all over her lower torso, her nonchalance at the end foreshadowing what was to come of the tryst.

Summary: No Way Out by director Francois Clousot for Digital Playground was a pretty good feature considering the limits of budget and casting, Ash Hollywood and friends providing a fair effort in between their sexually heated trysts. The sex scenes were short but often sweet, all of the gals fuckable and possessing enough energy to add some replay value so I rated this one as Recommended. In short, if you enjoy porn knock offs of mainstream Hollywood movies, you’ll probably find No Way Out right up your ally (as a porn take on La Femme Nikita) compared to some of the droning parodies still populating the market at this writing, the admitted use of common themes and similar storylines aside, I think the director could do even better if he came up with something completely original while using a cast as good as this one (both genders) so check it out.
